Ends up being $431.62 if you have an Amazon Business account (at checkout), for some reason. Thanks OP.

    • Was there no GST being charged on the order through Amazon Business account?. For every one else with a normal Amazon account gets charged GST on this and so the higher price. If so the $43.16 less difference in price might explain the lack of a 10% GST.

      • Yes, I think you're absolutely correct. Good catch!

    • I saw the price reduced the first time I was going to checkout using my business account. I didn't buy then and now the price doesn't reduce anymore

Son bought this a month ago, he loves cars and to record them, going to car meets and so on.
He is returning his as overheating easily (he want to use it whilst driving, know hot at front window but was in shady part and AC pointing at it.).
    Grainy still pictures.
Battery time not good at all.

    • I was looking at this one as well and decided it was mainly good for POV shots (mounted to cap, helmet etc.). I know reviews show it has power to do more than that but limited battery life was a major deterrent for me.
I had been using a DJI Osmo Action for years and it had been bullet proof. Mainly for in car recording on track and on the motorbike.
Just upgraded to the Osmo Action 5 Pro and it is a step up in image quality and battery life and would be great for car footage etc.

      • Yes, he is looking into the 5 instead.

    • Tell him he needs some thing designed for use as a car dashcam. I think that this is designed for web blogger use. Not designed for use as a car dashcam.

      • I have dashcams as well in my cars.
The image quality of a dashcam is not as good as these action cameras and you don't have the flexibility to move the camera for different ancles within the car, mount it externally or carry the camera to film outside of the car. Plus dashcams don't have inbuilt batteries in them.

This or the insta360 ace pro 2 for motorcycle videos?

  • I bought one of these when i was in China in September… it's super fun.

  • Any one know how these compare to the DJI osmo 4 and 2?

    • Osmo 2 is old AF. I think it came out in 2018?

I think the difference comes down to what you are shooting.

The Nano is best for mounting POV stuff. Think running, skiing, showing both hands in the shot etc. You are sacrificing some video quality and battery life for compact size and mounting convenience.

Osmo is best for more traditional Gopro stuff. Vlogging, hard mounted scenarios like tripod, timelapse etc.

  • Heard mixed reviews about RockSteady (EIS) and HorizonBalancing on the Nano
