When did TDS become a valid reason to neg?

      • -5

Around the same time he kidnapped a leader of a sovereign country, around the same time he pardoned the honduran ex leader who was convicted in a US court for drug smuggling and got 45 years, around the same time that he threatened to take canada by force, around the same time as he appears imminently about to invade greenland. (just a brief summary of his international actions that may one day affect you… ignoring the countless domestic actions he has carried out in america, without yet being overthrown by the people… which sort of implies general american complicity with his actions)

Are you distantly related to the bus(c)h presidential family who did very well trading with nazi germany after they invaded france, czechslovakia, denmark and poland, and were at war with britain….. or are you simply such an amoral person that you need someone else to set your values for you… maybe like an average christian?

I'm happy to wear the label "TDS" if you acknowledge that you are amoral/ self serving/ Machiavellian/ Unprincipled/ Sociopathic/ and or Psychopathic.
I took the precautionary step of seeking an AI definition, since my less obtuse description wouldn't be approved by ozbargain standards.

You forgot Iran, the bombers could be in the air now.

        • If he cured cancer tomorrow would you forgive him?

          • -1

@bargainatoraah: he is a cancer on the world…. why do you ask such a ridiculous question?

The problem isn't that he's obnoxious personally…. the personality of someone who made a great discovery that benefitted mankind would be irrelevant

Trump's "professional" work is not great discoveries… it is destroying the structures of modern western civilization for direct personal gain, either financially or to inflate his bloated ego.

If all we can do to punish the evil is not buy their products, then so be it. I love my Jack Daniels, but I won't be having any for the foreseeable future. They shut down their processing this year, so it is working

Lol, I don't know what Trump has to do with Jim Beam or Jack Daniels at all. The man is a teetotaler…

        • +2

Let us try to make you a little wiser…. we can try

Trump aka dementia don is the president of the united states, making decisions daily that are likely to have very damaging effect on people within america and across the world.

dementia don didn't just have a sudden turn….. it was obvious before the election that he was a danger to america and the world…. though not as obvious as it has now become.

american people voted for trump knowing this, and many still support his actions

american whisky is manufactured in states that overwhelmingly voted for dementia don….IE they support his dangerous/malignant/ damaging decisions

One way non americans can help make the world safer (ie get rid of trump) is to make decisions that financially harm americans (particularly those that support trump)… so that they have the opportunity to realise that trump's policies directly negatively effect them…. not just "someone else".

Whether trump drinks or not is irrelevant.

Hopefully this may help transform your lol into a dohhhhh

@rooster7777: Dude I hate trump - but find something better to do with your Monday arvo.

          • +3

@rooster7777: Okay, so I assume that you're also boycotting Chinese products because of their government's repeat and egregious human rights violations, wilful breach of international law, and ethnic cleansing of minority groups such as the Uyghur?

And Vietnamese products because of their many human rights violations, including against their ethnic minorities?

And I'll bet you were already boycotting Bangladeshi products before the student protests that overthrew the repressive government a couple of years ago, what with that government's violence against students, religious minorities and indigenous people?

What? You weren't boycotting those countries? But you're telling everyone to boycott the US because the president has, when I last checked, not done anything nearly as violent and awful against his own people?

I'm definitely a little wiser now - you're just a stock standard hypocrite whose care for human rights and dignity never seems to extend to places that need it the most. Dohhhhh.

            • @punkindrublic: Please tell me which of those countries you believe have threatened to invade allies?

If you read the whole post you'd read that my prime concern is trump's dangerous INTERNATIONAL policies.
None of the countries you mentioned have what I'd describe as dangerous INTERNATIONAL policies. None are currently (or have previously) threatened to invade an ally…. I would like to let you know that trump has threatened to invade canada, an looks dangerously likely to invade greenland imminently.

A teenager would likely understand that if either of these events occur, NATO would be fractured and the world would instantly be a far more dangerous place…. do you understand this?

If my logic above makes me a stock standard hypocrite in your eyes… then I'll suffer that burden.

              • @rooster7777: I understand, so as long as a country isn't threatening the international order then they're fine to commit all manner of atrocities without any repurcussions?

Shame you'll still have to boycott China given their threats to annex Taiwan, attempts to claim their neighbours' territorial seas, ongoing border skirmishes with India, frequent sabre rattling against Japan and South Korea for merely existing, and of course their repeated violations of WTO trade rules whenever it suits them, or they're butthurt about something minor that another country has done, or because it's Tuesday and they haven't showed off their small dick energy that week.

Somehow I doubt you'll be boycotting Chinese products anytime soon.

                • @punkindrublic: You've lost your sense of wise judgement…. if you previously had it.

Make up your mind… is the threat of being drawn into war something worthy of your attention….. Or only if you/your kids might be physically sucked into the morass?

To most thinking people's minds the likelihood/justification/ramifications of china annexing/ reuniting with taiwan is far less threatening than america invading/annexing canada or greenland. One has various historic reasons used for justification, the other is solely the current american president's desire for acquiring wealth (mineral resources etc) that belongs to others.

I can't work out how your logic goes on to include border skirmishes or "sabre rattling against japan and south korea". I mean, there's some recent history of twentieth century horrendous acts that could justify china disliking japan.

The more you write, the deeper your dislike for china is revealed, down to "china's small dick energy"…. quite a startling phrase for an adult.

I'm not in love with china, I'm not asian… and I think china is a threat to world stability and has done many bad things domestically. But I don't rage about it… why do you? Are you connected with people in "china" that have been treated badly? I'm struggling to work out any rational reason for the vitriol…. but that's a sideline…. it has nothing to do with your disinterest in the safety and stability of the world posed by trumpian america.

                    @rooster7777: @punkindrublic

Ned's Aussie Whiskey is pretty good. Makes a nice ole fashion.

@tunzafun001: Yes… there are so many interesting tasteful alcoholic beverages world wide… more than enough to avoid redneck american maga state products.

How about Switzerland… any good Swiss products?

(you had me absolutely flabbergasted for a moment… surfing the ozbargain site from Switzerland…. but then I saw mildura :)

(and now you have me thinking dohhh… perhaps switzerland means you're acting the role of an unaligned neutral peacekeeper, chatting to both of us! Best I go and have a swig of something!)

          • @rooster7777: And how you think about sleepy Joe or that woman for that matter.

            • @ashikk: Was either of them likely to invade an ally? Not a chance in hell, so pretty harmless relatively speaking to trump.

The irony is that draft dodging war mongering trump reckons he should have a peace prize! The fact that he got one from FIFA and was happy for a day tells all anyone needs to know about trump and fifa.
