            Well… SFF…. I respect that choice. I'd describe them myself as independents, rather than a minor party, but doesn't matter.

            I deeply resent that I can't own a slug gun to terminate the rats I catch…. so now they just starve or eventually die if they've eaten enough ratsack… drowning them is too much of a pain in the arse. (that is, own without paying an annual licence fee, keeping it in a safe, and being held accountable for it by cops anytime of the day or night)

            I don't have a wish or need for a single shot rifle or shotgun, but don't object to sane people in an appropriate environment holding them.
            I don't believe that the macho feel of owning military type devastating large magazine rifles is matched by the damage they can do in society.

            I believe that a vote for an independent…ANY independent… should be the first choice, followed by any minor party, followed by the tail end charlies labor, liberal, and national.

            But tell me… why did you think I was obviously a greens voter because I am deeply concerned about the divisive conflicted place that america is turning the world into?

      Those Japanese prices are even cheaper than US where a 1L bottle is about US$20 (AUD$35). A quick google search says Japan has one of the cheapest (if not cheapest) alcohol prices in the world.

        Agreed. 1L coming back through Singapore for MM @ 45% (not our nanny state 40%) was like ~40 (yeah I know minus tax).

      You could buy 4L bottles of JP whisky in supermarkets there for not much more (also in plastic bottles). I know which I'd choose.

    Besides the odd deal they have jacked up prices on most items pre-XMAS, my advice waits until we get closer to Australia Day or at least when they offer a 15% discount (if that ever happens again).

          If you align repeatedly making the same off handed point on an handful of alcohol deals today as social responsibility, then agreed, I have significantly less social responsibility than you.

          I expect our views on the state of events in the US align somewhat, though my posts generally use punctuation, upper and lower case characters, and aren't copy pasted across multiple deals
