In an entirely frozen world, people develop steam-powered technology to oppose the overwhelming cold. You face the task of building the last city on Earth and securing the means necessary for your community to survive.

What's included in this bundle:

  • Frostpunk Season Pass - a set of three expansions of the Frostpunk universe:
  • The Rifts - already available being the first mini expansion which brings new endless mode map and a new constructible building – The Bridge.
  • The Last Autumn - this one is going to be a vast expansion of the game's universe by introducing brand new scenario along with game-changing mechanics and unique architecture, while broadening Frostpunk’s lore and narrative.
  • On The Edge - expansion tells a story of citizens of New London sent for a special assignment after the Great Storm.
  • Frostpunk Original Soundtrack - it's the original soundtrack from the game, composed by Piotr Musiał. All tracks mastered and mixed for the digital version of the album, delivered in all popular formats.

Differences between game of the year edition and the normal one?

    Awesome price. Thanks OP

Great game, great price. I liked it way more than Frostpunk 2, which felt like it lost what made the original so good.

    • +7

Agree, loved the first one, couldn't really click with the 2nd game.

  • Never heard of this game. Looks cool though. Will give it a shot. Thanks op.

    • It’s excellent. Challenging, but rewarding.

I'll play this while eating my sawdust soup

Sigh.. I'll add it to the collection of games I don't have time to play..

These days I have been teaching myself to refrain and to crack into something in the backlog instead… so far proven to be a good strategy, because most things come back on sale within months usually at the same discount rate.

If you were claiming Amazon prime games, just check if you own frostpunk already .

I just checked my email and it says I claimed "DISCOUNT – Z6LR - FROSTPUNK FOR AMAZON PRIME GAMING", 2021-12-13.

    (Also on Epic Games 06/2021)

    • I have it on Epic, but it would have been just the standalone game without the expansions. I remember playing and enjoying them for the most part, particularly The Last Autumn.

I already have the game, but want the dlc. Should I buy these ? It's great game

    • +2

The Soundtrack and Digital Artbook are free on Steam but the three expansion sets combined would cost $51.40 on Steam (there would likely be an additional 10% off for owning the base game), so it's still cheaper to get this deal if you want the DLC. Also, bear in mind that the Expansion packs are mostly rated as "Mixed". I haven't played them so I can't comment.

    • +6

The DLCs weren't amazing but I still enjoyed them. I'd only recommend if you really like the base game and just want more.
If you already have the base game on Steam, it's cheaper to buy the Season Pass instead of the Game of the Year edition:
      Fanatical $5.69 with code OMENVIP
      nuuvem ~$5.49 (Also official retailer)
Though it has been lower at GMG before ($4.19)

I actually loved the dlcs. I think they add enough new ways to play/ challenges/ maps to keep you going for quite a while. Also, one of them has a fantastic campaign that takes place mostly before the frost/ snow.

  • Anyone have steam deck experience?
Trying hard to stick to verified games going forward

    • According to ProtonDB

      https://www.protondb.com/app/323190

! This game sometimes shows mouse, keyboard, or non-Steam-Deck controller icons
! Entering some text requires manually invoking the on-screen keyboard
! Some in-game text is small and may be difficult to read
✓ All functionality is accessible when using the default controller configuration
✓ This game's default graphics configuration performs well on Steam Deck
! This game does not default to external Bluetooth/USB controllers on Deck, and may require manually switching the active controller via the Quick Access Menu

    • Does it even support controllers?

Great game, great price. Time to support the devs!
