I scouted the yoga 7 pro for 1400ish around black friday on the outlet store (new). Kept waiting for a touch screen version and the deal never came.. prices are horrendous now.. might just drive down to officeworks tomorrow..

    • I know, terrible time to buy a PC. Maybe get one now before it goes even crazier.

But with the current RAM & SSD pricing, this is the best I have seen.

Best this year, perhaps, because the Ultra 7 32GB was selling for $1,699 (and the Ultra 5 for around $1,400, from what I recall) at Lenovo from before Black Friday until mid-December, and then again on Boxing Day (here’s a post I made before Black Friday).

  • i got 32gb ram with 1TB hard disk (2 in 1), Ultra 7 for 1799 with 15% shopback in Nov.

  • YES I KNOW, it was much cheaper at the end of 2025, but those deals were long gone. If you can find a better price right now for this model, please post here.

Otherwise it makes no sense to talk about past deals.

    • The 2-in1 is cheaper $1599 for 226V 16GB and $1899 for 258V 32GB, not the same model, but IMHO a better alternative because its a 2-in-1 with a touch screen and also comes with a FP reader where the slim one doesn't (which for me is a must have).

      • This for sure. Just picked up the 258V 32GB 2-in-1 for $1499 from ebay with 15% coupon. Looks like a lucky find considering…

      • For me the non-touch model is still better because:

        1. I never use touchscreen on laptops.

        2. I'm concerned about long-term durablity of the hinge on 2in1 laptops, especially at this price range. Traditional hinge is usually firmer, hence less flex while typing.

        3. The 2in1 version is 200-300g heavier than the non-touch one. Sounds like nothing, but you'll feel the extra weight on your backpack and shoulder 🥲.

        4. Agree the fingerprint reader is nice but not enssential to me.

So yes I'll pay an extra just to get non-touch. But thank you for sharing. Maybe someone else will prefer the 2in1 👍

  • For someone not really up with it all, what is the situation with the current RAM and SSD pricing ?

  • Got the same specs, except 2k OLED for $1100 just 2 weeks ago.

  • Thank you for the deal.
I have been reading about the uptrend in RAM and SSD prices, mostly in ozbargain. Just curious to know if apple products also fluctuate with such trends? I have been contemplating a Mac mini and was wondering if the price has been rock steady.

I don't track Apple computer pricing so cannot say for sure. So far I haven't heard any price rise from Apple. But I'd recommend buying one now cause situation can get worse in near future. Any device using RAM and SSD will suffer from this AI price gouging, and who knows when it will return to normal.

Now is a pretty good time to buy Mac cause of the Back to school promotion. Stack with cashback and gift card so you get the best price 🙏🙏

  • i got one similar specs $700. if selling it, how much can i sell it for?

Not sure mate, depend on brand, model, condition and where you live. Just go to fb marketplace or google and have a look at price of your model in used condition.
