Are these better than the recent CMF Buds 2A deal for $26, for double the price? Absolutely, it's better then those CMF 2A in everything.

But is it twice as good? Yes. Especially the battery life and mic quality. Sound quality also better due to high res LDAC support.

But but……? Trust me bro.

    Complex but it works.
    Good post 👍

  • Codes worked, stacked with some other Aliexpress promo that was auto-applied for total USD32.83 for me.

  • -2

how does this stack up against the recent nothing earbud deal

  • +1

Thanks grabbed one. Mine was aud42.93

  • What’s the difference between having it in USD and AUD?

    • +2

nothing since the price went back up to $140 for me :(

Usually it is cheaper in USD as long as you don't have currency exchange rate fees.

    • +3

      trump or albo

    • If you have a card that has no exchange rate fees, the USD might be better than AUD.
It wasn't for a while (so I switched back to AUD) but it looks like USD is favourable again.

  • When trying to collect $49 it says that Security Check Failed. Any remedies?

    • +3

same here but it works for me if you enter the code manually, the one that worked for me is J2DYAW but if that doesn't work try the other $49 ones

      • Thank you, that worked indeed

      • Thanks, had the same issue but pasting in your code worked to get the discount.

  • Worked for me $34.99 USD came to $52.45 AUD (used my crypto.com card for exchange, possibly 45c more expensive but 4% back in CRO)

      Subtle flex Icy holder.

    • Interesting.

  • +1

Weird, showing $85.90 USD for me, total comes out to $30.99 USD

    • Including tax?

      • +1

yeah everything, actual charge on card convert to aud ~$47

    • +1

i got the same $85.90 original base price that is reduced to $30.99
I'm guessing there is some kind of dynamic pricing going on….

  • Anyone got these can compare them to the original Pixel Buds Pro? Sound quality call quality etc are all decent but the fit is just.. Not good. I understand the pro 2 really helped this but unless there's a sub 100 deal I'll pass so was looking at an alternative cheaper pair.

    • +2

I don't rate these compared to the pixel buds pro. I have used the buds pro and the buds pro 2 for a couple of years now, and I got these a month or so ago as a backup, and to me that's all they're good for.
The active noise cancellation is weaker than the buds, touch controls are customisable but for me they're a lot less intuitive than the buds, and I've had people pull faces on video calls which suggested that the voice quality is not superb (I never had this happen using the buds).
If you're looking for your next daily driver, keep looking. As a backup, they're decent.

Just editing to add an acknowledgment of the price difference - the gap in price (large) can far outweigh the gap in quality (loooot smaller) if that's a criterion for you

      • Thank you! Just what I wanted to hear.

I find the original buds just uncomfortable for a while/the left one especially just wants to fall out (this is a me problem, mostly, but I've had other IEMs not have this issue).

Yeah I'd probably be looking at these only as an EDC backup (take to office) for duties mostly for calls but for some general music use too. They'd probably be decent for that but I know me - if I find a pair that fits well/sounds good and has no major glitches it'll become my primary anyway!

…I should just stop buying earbuds is the lesson XD

  • Got the grey for AUD $46.45 (USD $30.99) before TopCashBack (at 13% hopefully the cash back will stick).

    • +1

TopCashBack tracked at $5.24, bringing the grey to a grand total of AUD $41.21.

      Thanks OP.

  • https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006413442139.html? DIFFERENT STORE, BUT just purchased Grey ones at $47.80 after using coupon AUJD04
Looks like Aliexpress may be rolling offers throughout different stores, so if you REALLY want these, just search a little and grab

don't forget your 13% TCB…which means you get another $5-ish off!

    • +7

that seems like the NON plus version so technically its a different model.

    • +1

Careful. That's the Non Plus version (inferior to the Plus model). Also it's the Chinese version vs the Global version.

  • +1

damn that went by quick. thanks for sharing op

  • +1

Ugh…Missed the Nothing Ear (A) and now this too.

  • Code still worked

    • How'd you add items to cart?

    • Item is no longer available

  • The same store has additional listings for the same model (CMF buds 2 plus) for 78AUD, what's the catch?

    • +1

Needs to be 79USD to use the 10 off coupon. There are always multiple duplicate listings for different prices, think you can still get this for ~USD$37 for the other available listings.

    • +2

Be careful some are not the Global model. If they don’t list Global, it will be the Chinese model which are cheaper by default and also is missing some features mostly software based.

  • +1

How come some people are getting $30.99 and even someone else in another thread got $28.99?

    • I noticed that with my order as well, looks like they have dynamic pricing.

  • Back in stock if you still have those codes saved and attached to your Aliexpress account.

    • Only grey left. Also unfortunately not the $85 some were getting earlier. Edit nvm all gone again after I posted.

  • +1

There are a couple of other stores that have similar pricing available, but a few bucks more, both affiliate products:

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005010473289230.html - US$37.55
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009519936100.html - US $44.39, if you really want these

    (check out the available coupons)

  • Just received mine, and from about a 5 minute test, they get two thumbs up - the ANC in particular is much better than the QCY melobuds I have (which is actually pretty decent).

    • +1

They really are great for $50 AUD, especially the clear bass and battery life is nuts. You can tune the sound to add a bit more treble from the app and then it nearly butts head with Airpod Pro 2's.
