Time to fly for half price. No longer are kids charged as adults whilst Jetstar are offering free flights and accomodation for kids to select destinations and select travel dates with their holiday packages. Happy holiday planning.

Kids Fly & Stay FREE. Sale ends 11.59pm AEDT Wednesday 21 January 2026, unless sold out. One child (0-11 years) per full paying adult can fly and stay for free (when using existing bedding). Includes return Starter airfares, 20kg checked bags and standard seat selection. Limited changes can be made to Kids Fly & Stay FREE bookings but change fees and any fare difference will apply.       Yes but this is for ages 0-11 so whilst for a newborn it may not be that much of a saving, it is for kids who need to have a seat on the plane.

    Getting price of ~$2700 at some hotel in Nusa Dua in May.
    Few questions:
    1) Kids fly free offer includes 13yrs child? Or its full adult price?
    2) 5nights stay good enough for first timer in Bali aa family vacation ( with kids 10yrs and 13yrs)?

    Will it be cheaper and better to book flights and hotel on own ( not from this deal) for extra 2-3 days? 🤔

      Kids (0-11)
      A lot of hotels now only let 1 child stay in the room with 2 adults, so you may need to get 2 rooms. Also now my daughter is 12 they aren't considered a child (0-11). Will it be cheaper to book flights and accommodation separately? Short answer- yes usually. You need to sit down and do your research: where do you want to stay in Bali, what star accommodation do you want, do you want breakfast included. Will you fly with Virgin/ Jetstar - are you flying in a school holiday period, how many are going. All of these effect price. Often package prices that are cheap need to be booked more than 6 months out and in off season to get 'cheap' prices. So in answer to your questons, you really need to qualify your budget, when you are going. It is too hard to give you a definite answer in ozbargin

      Not often.
      They did one a few years back and I got Hobart to cairns for my two girls and I crazy cheap. Not sure about the deals this time around but it was amazing last time.
      Been keeping an eye out for this ever since.

      Yeah the jetstar holiday search page is probably the worst I've ever used.

      Needs a massive overhaul. I'm not sure who the product manager is for it, but it needs work

        I suspect it means you can't ask for a cot or an extra bed, but hard to say — very poorly written (probably by an ESLer).

      We got 5 days at Sea World the other day for a bit under 2k return. Pretty happy with that for 2 adults, 2 kids.

      Tempted to slap a 3 dayer on at Turtle Beach for a grand before the sale ends too just because.

          Think the 19th to 23rd May…not 100% off the top of my head, but it was around then.

          Edit: Gmail says 18th to 23rd. Avalon to Coolangatta, $1931 for 2 adults and 2 kids.

      1 adult 2 kids here. Can I use this offer by paying for 2 adults With only 1 adult and 2 kids travelling? Works out cheaper than booking flights and hotel separately for an Adelaide trip.

      Can I use the 2nd (non travelling) adults checked bag allowance? Do kids get any checked baggage allowance?

      Booked Gold Coast to Adelaide for a long weekend for 2 adults and 2 kids for $1018.
      Also booked a Sydney trip for my daughter and I for $900.

      Great value if you hunt around to find dates that work for you.

        Typically, its when you are using the bedding that comes with the room you booked, and not adding any additional beds.

      We did this deal for Paradise resort in October. I personally wouldn't go back there, as there was not much on offer for adults. My little summary based on our experience.

      • No quiet areas for family or adults to retreat to. They are in the middle of building an adults section, but in its current state there was nothing to be had away from the pool or restaurant areas.
      • The buffet breakfast was absolute chaos with kids running everywhere and everyone talking as loud as they could.
      • While the food wasn't bad, the drink prices (both kids and adults) were quite hefty, more so than the Carnvial cruise I just got back from.
      • The kids entertainment and kids club wasn't too bad though and kids enjoyed what was on offer.
      • Facilities were adequate, but very dated.

        agreed…. went there a few years back and wouldnt go again. Did seaworld last year with the kids they loved it and much more adult friendly. Was looking to go to seaworld again this year with the sale, couldnt find any dates that would work - ended up booking 5 nights at the Dynasty (after trying each bloody date combination) - cheapest i could get in Nov for 2 adults / 2 kids was $2.7k syd return (sun 8th - wed) in a garden room
