Activate & Spend $X (Min. $50) in 1 Transaction Each Week for 4 Consecutive Weeks at Coles, Get 10,000 Flybuys Points @ Flybuys

2540

Store: Coles
Reward: 10,000 Flybuys Points ($50 Value) OR $50 Off
Offer Type: Targeted / Activation Required

The popular Flybuys 4-week spend challenge is back for many members! Check your Flybuys app or email to see if you've been targeted and what your specific spend requirement is.

The Offer

Spend your targeted amount (e.g., $50 or more) in a single transaction each week for 4 consecutive weeks to receive 10,000 bonus points ($50 worth) or choose the $50 off option.

Promotion Dates

The first week is always a longer 10-day window to get you started, followed by standard 7-day windows:

  • Week 1: Friday 16 Jan – Sunday 25 Jan 2026 (10 Days)
  • Week 2: Monday 26 Jan – Sunday 1 Feb 2026
  • Week 3: Monday 2 Feb – Sunday 8 Feb 2026
  • Week 4: Monday 9 Feb – Sunday 15 Feb 2026

Important Details:
  • Activation Required: You MUST hit the "Activate" button in the Flybuys app or website before your first qualifying transaction.
  • Single Transaction: The minimum spend must be reached in one go (after all discounts/coupons).1
  • Exclusions: Tobacco and tobacco-related products, Coles Express, iTunes/Gift Cards, charity donations, and 3rd party delivery services (Uber Eats/DoorDash).
  • Online Orders: For Coles Online, the order must be delivered or collected within the specific weekly dates to count for that week.
  • Receipt Confirmation: Check the bottom of your receipt after shopping; it usually prints a confirmation like "Week 1 of 4 qualifying shop met."
Tips:
  1. Which reward to choose? Most OzBargainers recommend the 10,000 points. They are more flexible and can be converted to Velocity Frequent Flyer points (often with a 15% transfer bonus during promo periods).
  2. Stacking: This offer stacks with other individual product boosters and "spend $X get Y points" offers you may have.
  3. Offer Visibility: The offer tile sometimes "disappears" on Mondays/Tuesdays while Flybuys processes the previous week. It usually reappears by Wednesday.

  1. If any transaction is completed online and there are items that are unavailable or cannot be substituted and total spend falls below the qualifying spend requirement, that shop will not qualify for your weekly spend. If this occurs, you can contact the Flybuys Service Centre on 13 11 16 to discuss further.

    I got Spend 120x4 Get 10K or Spend 170x4 Get 20K

  • Got $50 a week for 10k and I’m going on vacation for 2 weeks… DAMN IT

    • +11

Order it and send to your friend's address. Dont have friend? Send to my address.

    • +23

Cancel your vacation. This is more important.

    • -1

if you don't buy anything for this promo, there is a possibility you'll get 40 spend next promo

      • +3

        No. $50 is the lowest

        • Ahh ok, so then his next one will still remain at 50

          • +1

@starbearer: Don’t just happen to do one for $100! That may just bump it to $60

          • +1

@starbearer: Yeah, been there, tried that :)

    • +5

It happened to me before. I bought in-store the first week before I left and scheduled for an online order to be delivered to my house a day before I returned and authorised for the order to be left on the porch. I ordered bulky household items like 4L laundry liquid and soft drinks etc.

    • +4

Best move is usually to skip activating this round and wait for the next one
Flybuys re-targets regularly, especially if spending drops temporarily.

    • Similar here, but fortunately I have 1 day in week 4 to spend, then 10k points on return!

  • +7

    Finally they are back

  • Thanks, got the $50 offer. No chance I can spend that much but something to aim for.

    • +3

Buy a bag of coffee beans when they are on sale one each cycle and that's two weeks of the four sorted.
Then hopefully the other fortnight there's a higher priced non perishable that you like to purchase(maybe dishwasher tablets or pet food).

      • What coffee beans do you recommend from Coles? Genuinely curious 🤓

    • +1

Oh c'mon. Are you an Aussie or what? Everyone knows when Aussies are desparate, they buy toilet paper… lots of toilet paper… ;)

  • +1

Yay got the $50 on both accounts after getting crap offers on both for months.

    • You have 2 accounts? Are they crack down on that ?

      • +2

Yeah they closed 8 of my 10 accounts recently.

        • +1

Did you have lots of points on there? Did you lose all the points?

        • +1

Are they all under the same name and number?

      • +3

Haven't cracked down on it yet. Wish they would. I'd definitely spend less with them.

  • Woolworths Rewards also got similar offer, mine was $90 or above for next 4 weeks

    • -2

They copied coles's promo. Can't they be more creative?

      • +5

Woolies is spend the amount over several shops per week.

        Coles is a single transaction.

        • +5

Much prefer the Woolies method of being able to sum your spends together. Having to do it all in a single transaction is such a challenge!!

That said, this is the first time I’ve ever had a 4 week challenge from Woolies (been in the program for years). The Coles offers are better value

  • +4

Looks like I'll be loading up my Opal card again!

    • +1

      Is it eligible?

      • +2

Yea. And you can pay with discounted giftcards…..

      • +3

Yes of course, this is how I've been using this promotion! And you can use discounted gift cards to pay.

        • Gift cards aren’t eligible though 🤔

          • +1

@rogsamsy: you don't buy gift card. you use discounted gift card to pay for opal reload.

    • How do you load up your Opal card at Coles?

      • +4

Certain stores do them like Broadway, World Square, Wynyard

        • Thanks, on my way

        • Coles North Rocks also does it

  • YAY finally!

  • $50 for me too

  • $50 is back for the first time since October 2025!

  • +1

$50, $60 & $60 on our cards, Les gooo! Easy 30,000 pts thx

  • I got two

    $50 in one

    And

    $70 in another

  • +1

Both of my accounts got $50, sweet.

  • C to OLES

    KING IS BACK

  • I feel jipped. Nothing this time.

    • Also nothing.

      • Me three - having FOMO!

  • Nth neither!

  • Got the offer for $50 a week for 10k points. Way better than the 200 points Woolies is offering me 😂

  • Got $50, $50, $60 and a $130/$180 offer for 10k/20k

  • I honestly hate how now you can only spend $10 per shop per day of flyby points at coles

    • +1

Convert to flybuys dollars and pay as you want.

      • -2

        You cannot do that anymore

        • +1

Did you even tried because I just did and it still works normally.

          • -1

@nightelves: Ok, I just check the website and you can still do, you cannot do it through the app anymore. Do you still need to use the physical card to use them?

            • +2

@jonnois: You still can on the app. Just go to Redeem, then flybuys dollars then max amount or you can adjust amount using the +

              • @nightelves: I redeem flybuys dollars through the app and then swipe the physical card.
                Been doing it for years.
Did it last week as well.

                • -1

@techno2000: Ok so it turn out I'm completely wrong and you guys are right. Still sucks that you need to swipe the physical card, I haven't carried a wallet in years ever since ID went digital. It also sucks that you have to convert it etc. much prefer the way woolies do it, with woolies I just use the app at check out then I can select how much I want to use on the checkout screen, no physical cards no converting anything. Coles really make you work for it

Thanks for the help tho :)

                  • -1

@jonnois: Yes, Coles has always done that. Considering that transferring points to Virgin can almost double the value of your points compared to using them for shopping at Coles, and that Coles gift cards usually offer a 3% discount, buying these gift cards can help you complete your credit card spending goals and quickly switch between different banks…

After realizing this, I stopped using Flybuys points for shopping.

    • I only realised recently if you shop at Bunnings they don’t have the $10 limit

  • Can I use my $10 off vouchers when paying for the $50. I.e. If if I spend $55 and pay $10 with flybuys and $45 with cash. Am I still eligible?

    • No.

      • I thought you can pay with Flybuys dollars to still meet minimum payment, but if you use the 10% monthly discount for Coles Plus then you need to spend $50 after discount

        • What I’m interpreting whatovit is asking is that he wants to is $10 off shopping and still meet the spend. So if he does $50 groceries and uses the $10 off shopping then the total will be $40. Whereas if he did $50 and redeem $10 using the flybuys card then it still counts.

          • @nightelves: I think I've done that too and still got $50 spend, but yeah easier to redeem Flybuys dollars then use that card to pay.
p.s. I've even done both in the same transaction. I redeemed all of my points for Flybuys dollars just before checkout, then I was still offered the $10 off shop because it takes a little while for their system to update the points balance. Ended up temporary negative balance until the next 10,000 was added.

  • Yes

  • -1

    50 on all accounts.

    • How many spouses and children do you have? ;)

      • +3

my cats have cards too :)

  • +2

This is always the best promo. Effectively (if your required to spend $50 - and only spend just that amount), its 25% off (or fourth shop is effectively free).
Stack that with buying predominantly half price (or better) items, and you're doing pretty well.
A hack I use is to download the catalogue monday evenings, then choose whether to wait until Wednesday for better bargains, or shop Tuesday to take advantage of current weeks bargains. I find some weeks have way more products I like, and do two of the required shops in that week. Basically leveraging the Mon-Sun shopping cycle against the Wed-Tue discount cycle.
    Hope that helps someone.

    • +1

This is exactly what I do as well.

  • Am going on vacation for 2 weeks so no deal for me this time.

    • buy toilet papers

  • I lost all my glassware credits because I could not find stocks even searching for 3 weeks. very unfare.

  • $90 ☹️

    • 'Offer Visibility: The offer tile sometimes "disappears" on Mondays/Tuesdays while Flybuys processes the previous week. It usually reappears by Wednesday'

Phew. Thought I was opted out of it after the offer disappeared from my app!

  • +1

4x $50 here, same as the last few years. I don't do any large shops at Coles so this has probably labelled me as a tight ass in the Coles DB.

  • +3

Recheck your offers, some stackable 1,000 and 2,000 point offers have hit some of our families accounts :)

  • Got my offer too. Thanks OP.

  • +1

Keen to know what people used to buy to get the $50, other than groceries. I've almost exclusively used it by topping up on Opal cards

  • saw this too late . had $50 for 10k

    • nevermind, it just started and $60 on other acc

        • Wait where are you receiving these notifications? I haven't received anything.

  • +1

Should also be able to stack with the Coles Liquor offer of $25 off $100: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/944326

    • You can indeed. Picked up a case of Estrella Damm for $40 yesterday which met my $50 week 1 spend. 😊

I'll order a bottle of whisky tomorrow to pick up on 26 January to complete my week 2 spend.

  • I just received an interesting stackable bonus where it says I have to redeem it at a specific store. Has anyone redeemed these before? Are they really store specific?

    • +1

When I last received one of those Flybuys offers around a year ago, I shopped in-store at a different Coles and I still received the bonus points from that offer. I have no idea whether this is still the case though.

Does the offer terms and conditions require you to spend at that particular Coles, or does it only say to shop in-store or online at Coles? If it is the latter, that offer probably still works at any Coles. My offer only said to shop in-store or online at Coles, not specifically at the store mentioned earlier in the offer.

    • +1

Sometimes it says that in the heading, but when you read the fine print, it does not list a specific store.

    • +1

@WookieMonster @Yola I did have a look at the T&Cs as the first point did say "Offer valid in-store or online at Coles only" but the second point also just says "Selected stores only". I'll see how it goes!

      • Did it work?

        • In my experience, I receive an email stating/naming the store, but the app, where I have to boost the offer doesn’t specify the store. I usually just shop wherever and have always received the bonus offer. Last two weeks have had this type of offer and have received bonus points both times by placing an online order for collection from a different store.

      • I’m wondering how they choose the stores.
Maybe the ‘selected stores’ are chosen by a random number generator.

        • In my experience, the stores chosen for me were ones that were opened or received a makeover in recent times.

Another example: when Liquorland massively expanded their footprint in Tasmania by acquiring 9/11 Bottleshops in 2024, Liquorland kept on sending me Flybuys offers to encourage me to shop at the newly acquired stores, but the offers also worked at mainland Liquorland bottleshops.

          • +1

@WookieMonster: Yep it was one that had a recent refurb.

Btw it worked 😀. Interestingly the offer in the app didn’t list a specific store at all while the email did in the title.

  • Also should be stackable with new Coles Liquor offer of 20% off: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/944982

    • Yes you are right.
