They have been cheaper. I grabbed some for $180 late last year pretty sure through Samsung Education store. I've been happy with them but I think they will be cheaper soon with Buds 4 launching next month.

Relative to the competition? You are underselling the quality here. They sound substantially better than any $100 ear buds I've owned, which is a decent variety of brands and models over the years.

I have a pair and they're overpriced even at 200. They don't sound great lacking bass

Any cheap alternatives you can recommend?

Tried changing the tips and adjusting EQ? Mine sound good.

      disagree personally

    • Sounds like a tip size/fitment problem. If the seal isn't good you won't have much bass.

    • Make depend also on music genre.

Running through the 'Adapt Sound' function to create a personalised audio profile made a huge difference overall on any earbuds.

    • Buy some foam tips and grab an app called Wavelet take these to another level.

      • I'll give it a try

I have these and what makes me keep returning to them is the ability to mute the audio as soon as I or other people start talking and then resume music after people stop talking. This handy feature makes it possible to use it in all different environments and thus I use this much more. Wish this feature was available in more cheaper earbuds.

    • My sony xm4/5s do this too.

    • Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 also do this.

  • I had the cheapo Buds Live (the beans) that came with my S23 Ultra as a bonus a couple of years ago that I fell in love with, but left them behind in Melbourne airport on my way to Singaore yesterday. Tried to clean inside the case and placed them on a wall, but forgot to pick them up. Each piece had juice for 4.5-5 hours so both were good for a whole shift at work without being noticed much. The newer ones are either bulky or have a long part that points down, so hard to hide. Does anyone know earbuds the size of those older ones for Android phones?

  • Amazing sound, great for outdoors phone calls or noisy places, real battery life <3hs . It's really hard to find earphones to use in phone calls in noisy environments, but the battery life is terrible.

  • And for $1.51 more the white ones are sold and ship by Amazon (easy return 100% local stock)

  • These are the best earbuds I've ever used. Easily worth the price for $200, and the best microphone I've used/heard on any earbud. It even outperforms headphones like the Sony XM6 in terms of microphone quality. Highly recommend.

  • I have buds 2 pro and buds 3 pro. It could be the fit, but I just cant get into the sound on these at all. They sound tinny with little bass.

Switch to buds 2 pro, they sound great.
