Rockstar already has Red Dead Redemption. This Dev has run Rockstar games through a blender. The cover looks like Bully.
This is more like the original GTA than RDR, top down and not third person.
Rockstar's delays are very likely going to end up in a flop tbh… people have moved on.
Steam Fans Then: We want all the games in one launcher. We dont want Epic.
Steam Fans Now: Shit we have more games in our EPIC launcher than Steam, which one do we choose?
I've been claiming every week for years. I've played tons of games from Epic. It still only ever gets opened to play a game, then I don't bother with it again until the next game.
Steam is open on my PC 24/7
I have neither open. When I feel like playing games, I just open the launcher I want and use it. Competition is better.
Competition is better.
I agree, and I wish that Epic would improve their store / launcher and compete better!
@DiscountForThee: Their launcher was shite and unstable, but they have come a long way. I made many purchases on EPIC as well to support the "Competition" and yes, the little less ideal launcher has never stopped me from enjoying games. I usually place the shortcut of the games that I play on the desktop and dont even bother to go through either steam or epic launchers.
@John Doh: Playnite is pretty good for integrating different launchers so your games are all in one place.
@nil01: Especially great for when you have a lot of games over different launchers and want to see everything you have at a glance, so you don't accidentally buy a game you already own!
@nil01: Playnite is amazing. I highly recommend it for collating all the games you've got across different platforms and launchers
@John Doh: They probably still haven't fixed that you need to re-download everything after the installing your OS.
Whereas steam just finds the files and off you go, without downloading 2tb again.
That alone annoys me so much
@justtoreply: I have done it, its a bit hacky, but it works. You have to start the game install, pause, copy the files and resume the game install. But I had to do it only when i upgraded my PC almost 3 years ago and had to port to the new PC.
Reminder of this week's game: [PC, Epic] Free - Styx: Master of Shadows & Styx: Shards of Darkness - Deluxe Edition @ Epic Games.
We got red dead merging with gta before gta 6
You had me at "Grand Theft"
Thanks to Rockstar's delays, we have to resort to stealing horses and drifting carts before we move on to cars.
