Join OnePass Annual Membership ($40 Fee) and Get $40 OnePass Reward for Officeworks @ Commbank

1720

Offer appeared under my CBA Yello tab in the Commbank App. I’m a Yello Plus tier so most likely targeted offer.

OnePass annual sub becomes free after the $40 Officeworks voucher.

Join OnePass for just $40 on an annual membership and receive a $40 OnePass Reward to spend at Officeworks. OnePass memberships automatically renew annually, at the standard annual price of $40, unless cancelled prior. Offer available to new and returning OnePass customers. Valid online only. Offer can only be redeemed once. Offer expires on 8 February 2026 at 11:59pm (Sydney/Melbourne time). Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Must be a CommBank Yello customer. To access the offer, please use the latest version of the CommBank app. Offers are limited. T&Cs and exclusions apply. CommBank and partners reserve the right to vary, update or remove offers at any time. The OnePass Reward (‘Reward’) is redeemable once per member, for use in–store or online at Officeworks only, with no minimum spend. It expires 60 days from the date of issue and can’t be exchanged (wholly or partially) for cash or payments of credit or store accounts. Unused Reward value will be forfeited. It’s non–transferable and cannot be resold, exchanged, or used to buy gift cards.

Why office works though? It’s the worst one of the OnePass stores

    • +6

It’s the worst one of the OnePass stores

      what makes you say that

      • -7

other than printing stuff ive never purchased anything that i couldnt get on amazon

        • +5

Maybe they are thinking that you'll buy stuff from Officeworks instead of Amazon if you have One Pass?

        • +11

If you're buying expensive items like phones or laptops, it's one of the best Onepass stores, especially because they pricebeat.

          • +1

@Mr Frodo: if its in stock

          • +1

@Mr Frodo: Trying to price beat at Officeworks often feels like going to war, you make a request, they find some shit reason it doesn't qualify, you find another way through, they counter it with another suspicious recent policy.

          • -1

@Mr Frodo: What does onepass get you at office works? I'm in the market for a phone for my kid and wondering if this deal would do anything other than give me onepass for no cost

        • Not everyone likes to use Amazon for everything. Have you tried to warranty anything with them, it’s a nightmare.

          • +2

@ColtNoir: Yup very easy, sent it back and got a refund.
Sometimes they let you keep it

            • +1

@Wiadro: It’s not ‘very easy’ their contact details are buried deep and there isn’t a clear path to complain. Yes I’ve done it for cheap items, but if I’m buying technology, I’ll go to officeworks. Because if it breaks, I can toddle down and get it sorted that day.

Membership just ran out on 11th. I was going to buy a $20 phone plan to get 'free' OnePass but this is a better deal.
Thanks OP. Time to look for a bunch of colour coordinated folders to truly make my work desk 'next level'….

    • @sobriety22 - not sure if this offer is still valid

  • +3

Seems like $40 needs to be spent in one transaction, not like a gift card.

  • Offers are limited.

    What!!!

  • I think it’s targeted.

  • +1

My membership is cancelled but lasts until 23 jan. If I renew now do i still get the $40? or do i need to wait until after 23 jan

  • +1

Does the payment have to be with commbank card for this offer?

    • T&C does not say anything on this. I too am interested in knowing.

    • +4

Was able to use Westpac card and got the voucher

      • Thanks. My renewal date is after a week. I might just cancel the plan and renew again

  • +2

$40 credit came via email a few mins later - thanks!

    • how long is the credit valid for?

      • +5

60 days from date of issue

    • No email still after renewing as a returning customer this morning. :(

      • Me too :( no email!
        When will we receive it!???

      • Did you get it eventually?

  • Interesting 26 Jan expiry.
Haven’t purchased anything at OW in a long time though!

    • What expires 26 Jan? Your current sub or you're referirng to something else?

  • Can you sign up and then cancel straight away?

    • +1

Yes….. you can turn your auto renewal off so it does not renew when it comes to the end of the 12 months, unless you're trying to sign up and cancel for a refund and still get the voucher, that won't be possible.

  • +2

    Onepass has a relevancy crisis.

A junk subscription that's just arrogance from Wesfarmers.

Perhaps add value by bundling everything like Coles plus or a streaming service into it for free.

    • Wesfarmers doesn’t own Coles anymore, though. Doesn’t make much sense to bundle them when the subscription is aimed at increasing the traffic to their own companies. Sure, they’re partnered with Coles, but they’re also partnered with a bunch of other companies, too.

  • Could this voucher be used for apple gift cards?

    • "It’s non–transferable and cannot be resold, exchanged, or used to buy gift cards."

  • +3

I've found that you can just politely ask their chat support for a discount and they'll hand you a 50% off voucher, minimal hassle

    • +1

I wonder if you could still get the $40 OW reward if you did this…

    • Has anyone done this discounted sign up and still recieved a voucher?

  • +1

    It's $20 OW voucher via https://onepass.com.au/

So I guess you need to be a yello customer for the increased offer?

    • Looks similar.

  • +1

How do you register as a previous member?

I’ve claimed the offer which then opens up a
Browser to register but it just says member registered.

Does the link do anything or do they track via credit card transaction?

    • After logging in it automatically inserts a coupon that starts with CBA….

      • Thanks for confirming.

I’ll register a new email address.

After clicking and logging in with my existing account it just loops and doesn’t show any coupons or deals.

  • +3

I’m a Yello Plus tier so most likely targeted offer.

I am on the Yello base tier and received it.

  • Can you stack the offer? I’ve got an existing one pass membership. It expires in 11 months.

    • yeah was thinking what to do with if you have existing membership :)

    • +1

      I dont think it works.

Offer available to new and returning OnePass customers

You either need a lapsed sub or click sign up.

I have the offer, clicked through from CBA and chose login and got nothing.

Very interested to hear if any existing users can get this to work?

I dont think I need 2 accounts of this & current was renewed at $20 in Nov, thanks to this mega deal back in April

  • Does anyone know if the OW voucher works on clearance items?

    • It works like any other gift card. You receive a barcode and pin. I used mine to purchase some orbit keys in the other deal :)

  • Those of you who have OnePass, mind sharing how it benefits you?

I’m struggling to see any benefits personally since I live in the city and it would be more convenient to pick anything in store than delivery.

    Thanks in advance

My kids like to buy Kmart stuff.
Kmart online stock levels are useless, and driving all that was to find out they're OOS is annoying.
Also walking around Kmart to find their stock is a waste of time.
Onepass = shipped from any kmart to your home.

I assume other stores with Onepass are similar.

    • +1

Extra flybuys points on transactions when linked

      • Bonus Flybuys points (but you need to do pickup in store) if you shop a fair bit at Bunnings, KMart, Officeworks etc…
      • 1 year return (instead of 14 days) - could be useful if you FOMO purchase things and they collect dust (then you regret buying)
    • +1

Yeh, it's pretty much delivery and not having to worry about stock most of the time.

Bunnings can be particularly good - I am thickskinned enough to make 5 separate orders of mulch for free delivery.

  • +1

This is a good deal but best to be sure that you will be able to spend $40 in OW with the voucher, for me it's a struggle.

  • I subscribed to OnePass (renewed) in the morning using my CBA credit card and haven't yet received any gift card.
How and when will we receive it?

    • +2

About 4 minutes after paying, OnePass welcome email arrived, then another 3 minutes, the email with the voucher. So about 7 minutes after signing up / re-joining.

The voucher also appears in the OnePass app (Rewards) and Web site (My rewards). When opening the OnePass app, it actually shows up as a notification initially.

  • +1

Saw the offer in the app, just can’t think of anything to buy at Officeworks within that 60-day window :(

    • Agreed.

      • Passport photos

        • They were rejected by the Passport office and I got a refund on them

    • Yeah same here.

  • In case anyone else is waiting for their reward:

I reactivated a dormant account and paid with AMEX. Nothing after 24 hours so I contacted support.
Rep was able to see the promo and confirmed I qualify, but says it can take up to two weeks to get the reward. Once it is issues, I'll be notified via email and can then see it in the app and website.

    • CBA Rep?
      Still haven't received my email.

      • +1

        One Pass customer service representative

        • Sweet as, just logged into OnePass and a pop up took me to a voucher under "My Rewards".

  • What happens if buy something from Officeworks and refund? Do we get $40 back as gift card or forfeited?

    • I believe you get store credit / gift card for OW only

  • +1

Thanks OP. Got one. The $40 coupon shown up in the Onepass account almost instantly.

  • Signed up and received voucher confirmation, seems like it can be applied to multiple purchases , will giev it a go

  • I was planning to sign up today but it disappeared from my offers though the offer expires tomorrow.

    • Mine is still showing in CommBank Yello. They've rearranged the list of the offers on the app so if you got the offer from CommBank then it should be there. Make sure you've selected 'ALL' under "Things you might like".
