📢 UPDATE – CLOSING SOON!
We’ve had over 300 enquiries and have now secured 70+ orders. We will be closing this deal soon.
💥 Black Friday Response
First, we wanted to say a huge thank you to OzBargain for our very first promotion on the platform. We definitely didn’t expect the response we received and were a little under-prepared for the absolute chaos that followed. You completely broke our phone system and website forms (in the best way possible), and we genuinely appreciate everyone’s patience while we scrambled to keep up and work through the flood of enquiries.
We’ve only just now finished following up with everyone and clearing the pipeline, so thank you again for bearing with us 😅

🔄 IMPORTANT REBATE UPDATE – EFFECTIVE FROM 1 MAY 2026
Why prices increase by almost $8,000 after 1 May 2026
From 1 May 2026, the federal battery rebate moves to a tiered structure based on battery size. While the headline rebate rate increases, large batteries receive far less rebate overall.
For a 41.93 kWh system, the majority of the battery capacity sits in the highest tier, where only 15% of the rebate applies. This results in a substantial reduction in rebate value for large-capacity batteries.
What this means for you:
- The same 41.93 kWh system costs up to $8,000 more after 1 May 2026
- Nothing about the system changes – only the rebate does
- Waiting until after May means paying almost $8,000 extra for the same system you could get today.
Bottom line:
If you want a large 41.93 kWh battery, delaying your decision will cost you significantly more. Locking in now avoids that increase.

For customers outside Metropolitan Victoria:
- Installations may still be available, subject to location and access
- Additional travel and logistics costs may apply

I feel like 42kwh is massive overkill..
I've checked my bill (family of 3) we use an average of 5.2kwh after the sun goes down.
Is there smaller systems for cheaper with existing solar systems?
