Referee receives 500MB at sign up and referrer receives 500MB after the referee purchases a data plan.
says code is invalid,
i only got the new user welcome coupon, 50% off but capped at 15$.
me2
FWIW the code worked for me just now.
It worked for me. Thank you
Did not work Invalid code
Worked for me
For anyone who tried the code and failed:
You need to apply the promo code during signup, not at checkout. After creating your account and logging in, go directly to the “Install SIM” menu.
Super. Thank's OP. I put it in the referral code section when signing up.
not work for me
Thanks OP got it in app sign up.
Btw it shows global 1 GB data in app and shows how to install button clicking on which it shows button to install eSIM. But clicking on 1gb global data wizard take me to buy option. Hope I already purchased I mean got as a sign up bonus rather than explicit purchasing from cart?
Ok I got an email confirmation as well
With QR code 👨💻 fanks!!!
It gave a confusing error saying the code was invalid, but appears to have applied it to my balance anyway. So I think that it worked.
Yes the way it’s all done is just sign up using that code and directly it’s there for you to install from the app. You also get an email with QR code
It appears that even if you add this, and already had another account on the same phone, they detect that at the "install sim" step.
Have tried deleting the old account but says it takes 24hrs, so will see if this then allows for the new deal (I'd be pretty annoyed if they kept my EID details or whatever on file after deletion)
I signed up for mum and wife ( I already have it) had to use 2 different browsers, i never installed the esim on my phone. But my understanding is you can only ever install one eskimo esim per phone
How does anyone survive on 1GB?
Maybe by buying a couple hundred of them.
If you use it for WhatsApp only so you can keep in contact with your travel partner and turn off everything you can do it
You wouldn't use it long term, but when you're flying into a different country with no sim and no data, this 1gb really helps booking an Uber/Grab at the airport and using maps, until you can get a local sim.
utilise free wifi when possible. only use esim for messaging and maps
Free wifi? No thanks I enjoy owning my identity
i mean, what's there to steal if you're just watching youtube?
Signed up using the code. However, I still have to pay for the !G Global data for $3.50 (it says 50% off for new user).
Well you can’t beat free, but….
For anyone looking for an eSIM, check out www.esimdb.com.
There are more free esims there, plus thousands of other esims from hundreds of suppliers to suit anyone. Very cheap.
Looks like a great guide with some neat sorting/filtering options, will save for future use!
nice tool.
yoho seems to be the cheapest but their website isn't loading when you select a country or region
does it stack with referral code?
Don’t see how it would as you can only enter the one code on sign up
Anyone just get a push notification with USD3 off code? I clicked on it but didn’t take note of it, now I can’t find it any more
It’s in vouchers. Also in notifications
Thanks to the OP - I gave it a test and review myself from within Australia. Seems it is basically a SingTel product being sold, terminated in Singapore. Packet loss rates are good, but I'm only getting Optus 4G/LTE rather than the promised Optus 5G and a suspiciously small MTU/MSS which isn't ideal for VPN usage. At least I didn't experience the congestion or long latency that some other US/UK-terminated SIMs have.
