      Right :)
I forgot to mention that I bought it for $331.55 in September 2025.

Well I bought in 2024 and I'm doing the smart I'm letting it mature to $1000.

    • +1

Yep, I remember I was HODLing for $200, but eventually caved and bought at $220. I was looking to buy another one for family when I realized the price had gone up to $350. I gave up.

Got 3 last time, do I get a golden ticket?

      • +1

You had to buy 300 of them and sell 297 them to OZBers at the original price to get a golden ticket.

      • Well done, you do win a golden ticket, as proof purchase please send to me and I'll issue you the ticket.

    • Hmm $280 for me in 2023. still going strong 💪

It did come with the worst piece of chocolate you can ever imagine 🤣

Got the 2TB version for around $120 from BPC before since Chris the Lexar Rep mentioned the price will only go up afterwards. Used the dive as the steam library and still going strong.

You overpaid! I remember Jesus giving them out with the loaves and the fishes. He got more back than he gave out too!

bought it for $265 with heatsink and mr beast chocolate in 2023.

  • I remembered paying $330 for it 8 months ago.

  • Grabbed the 1 TB one when it went in stock on Friday. Should arrive tomorrow. Best price at $162 I’ve seen.

This must be a crazy bargain price for you then given you're happy with purchasing a 2TB SSD for $100,000?

    • Need to be careful with cheaper SSDs at the moment and best to avoid QLC. However, if you don't mind QLC and want to get a rough equivalent, use the following formula:

Cost of TLC SSD ÷ 1.33. So, $417.29 is the target comparison price for QLC. However, QLC SSDs generally are not priced properly. You could use ÷ 1.25 if you really want one.

I have 2 of these in my pc and they work a treat, been about 2 years!

    • Likewise I pounced with one of the deals on here in 2024. Whacked it in a non gaming laptop…… have played a few basic games and some video ripping with makemkv + encoding with Handbrake. It rocks!

  • Thanks OP got one for $516.14 from Amazon Business

  • +4

Wow these prices are crazy, I got mine for 2 shillings and a handshake.

bought it for $2023 in 220

  • Maybe we should wait until the AI demand slows down

looks like the pc i built last year is appreciating in price at an exponential rate loll

    • +1

I built mine last year too and just for fun, I priced the same parts in PC Parts Picker and the price it gave me is literally double what I paid. My proudest achievement is getting 64Gb of Corsair DDR5 6400mhz CL30 RAM brand new for 150 from some guy on Facebook.

      • hehehe your RAM alone is what it cost me to build my pc minus the GPU …

    • Now if only someone knew a good car I could buy that would appreciate in value.

      • As an ozbargainer you should already know BMW's are your go to for high yield investments….lol

  • Annoying paying what was the price of a Gen5 with cache device for a Gen4 HMB ssd.

  • +1

Is the deal over? Showing as 695 for me :(

    • Yes, seems the deal is gone :(

  • They'll be $1,000 by Easter.

    • Bitcoin or ram?

      • Last time Bitcoin was $1000, it was back in 2017 silly. A lifetime ago. But you can buy a Bitcoin right now for a discounted price of $140,000. It's a good price as it was $194,000 only 3 months ago so buy now and when BTC is $240k in 5 years, that's an easy 2x gains in AUD.

holy crap .. paid about $335 just a few months ago, and even then it felt pricey..

  • this doesn't seem like a good deal

samsung 9100 pro was 577 for 4tb ~3 weeks ago, top of the line drive with dram too, and it didn't even go out of stock

    • Dam, missed that. I just jumped on to have a look at the ERP site and it is back at $743

  • how about this in comparison? https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0D6NG682S?psc=1
