Need some advice on when I should look to finalize my tickets for me and my partner.
We have our set dates but just can't figure out if the price is right. Currently we're looking at $1000/$1100 for a one way ticket with a decent time. Anything that's $800 mark becomes a 1.5-2 day flight.
cannot answer the question directly all i can say is set up price alerts and go from there
Yeah done that now, some of these prices are crazy. I have about 140k qantas points stocked up but cant find any rewards flights

Pretty common knowledge the earlier you book the cheaper it would be. Closer to date, the more it will cost….
Not as many flights are released and airlines will offer more seats accordingly with time. I'm just looking for peoples experience and whether the price is fair considering I've seen prices about half that for dates in June and July
