  • Price in title

    • Standard $280 / Premium $375

That works out to $47 / $63 per month if you get it just for the footy…

  • Why don't Sydney Swans & Port Adelaide offer digital memberships?

Why is Hawthorn $10 more expensive?

    • i dont think OP sets the prices

    • Sydney and Port do not have it offered on their site.

Hawthorn is $10 I assume to include the ticket price

    • Port and Sydney offer it via another platform that's available worldwide

  • Good work op

  • Important to remember that normal Kayo monthly prices are going up within a month, by about $6 per month or I remember correctly, so need to factor this in to any re-contracting calculations. I'm starting to consider the previously unheard of thought of simply unsubscribing! Just getting too expensive

    • Go to cancel and they’ll offer you $15 off a month.

      • Or $1 sometimes.

My $10/m for 6 months is about done now.

Pretty sure this clubs deal has gone up from last year, no doubt includes the Kayo price increase. If you split it with a mate it used to be about $12 per month for premium, now over $15.

    • True that, can’t we buy it now and then activate the code up until 30th November 2026 (not that most would wait more than a few months depending on their preferred sport) as per the T&Cs or will it not be valid once the price increases?

  • If you're just after Kayo for the cheap, a few NRL clubs have it for $345 for premium. Storm, Cowboys, Eels. Dragons have it $349. Standard is $275-$280.
Considering premium is going up to $45.99 a month , prepaying for 12 months at $28.75 is pretty good.

    • And you’re supporting your club as they get a new member and a cut

      • As an Eels fan I am very tempted to take this up when my current deal expires. I haven't had issues sharing memberships with others from OzB in the past so a shared premium membership makes sense.

        • Also a $20 discount if youre a member as well

          • @lambsie: Existing Kayo member or Eels member? Where did you see this?

        • Heads-up: Kayo are cracking down on password sharing. I’ve shared with my brother for the past few years, tried to login today and got s message about “no password sharing” and i can’t login.

  • I had a look the other day and there are a couple of clubs that are $270 for Standard so shop around if you want extra savings. Edit: Might have been an NRL club.

Kayo also seem to be testing account sharing so be wary of splitting a Premium account.

  • I am a Hawthorn supporter.

    • What made you become one?

      • Yes that's been on my mind too for 9months….

        • You could've had a baby in 9 months…

  • Wondering if its worth it as an f1 supporter. Dont need the full year so generally only member for x amount of months. Sometimes getting a cheap month here and there. Need to crunch my brain hard for this math

    • F1 goes for like 9 or 10 months now.

      • Wont be be long until F1 is only on Apple TV probably. There current licence ends 2026 and Apple TV have the rights to it in the USA. So for footy and F1 fans, they’ll probably be up for 2 subscriptions in 2027.

    • Get an Indian f1 tv subscription and then use a US vpn to stream it. Better commentary and it’s only like $50 for the year.

      • How did you get it to work? I tried but doesnt allow, even with VPN.

        • You'll need to sign up using an Indian Apple ID (I assume you could use a google play account too on android), then pay using Indian Apple Gift Cards (you can buy them on Amazon.in). Then with an Indian VPN on, subscribe to F1TV using the gift cards to pay in the app.

From there you can stream using a USA vpn as they're fast enough to watch in 4k.

If you want more detailed instructions see here - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/904426

Only thing I wouldn't follow from those instructions is that I'd buy the gift cards from Amazon not a cdkey site, and I'd go for a yearly subscription instead of a monthly one. There's a good comment at the bottom of the thread with some tips as well.

  • Surely there’s a sympathy discount for North fans?

    • West Coast Eagles too but as usual they are quite money hungry and greedy (paltry $25 voucher on overpriced items).

      • True although it’s the fans that keep buying membership, although in this case they are cheaper than the rest at $350

        • Yes exactly. Many people don't want to give up their membership so they retain it even during these recent times.

          • @arcticmonkey: Yes exactly, similar to the MCC memberships and the years wait list.

      • *WestCoke Eagles

        • The most successful team of the AFL era after Hawthorn and Brisbane and they were a new club when the AFL formed.

Better record than the more established teams (Collingwood and Richmond etc) and they have to travel every 2nd week.

          • @arcticmonkey: Yeah was referring to The Chasers skit at the time, look it up lol. Andrew Johns still went on to commentate and host shows so not all bad.

It's good they got other states including WA involved in AFL, they sure don't care about league :).

  • West Coast Eagles is $350 not $375

  • Anyone know if these prices are going up in Feb, along with the other price increases?

  • What happens with if you have say 3 months left on an annual subscription and you buy an annual footy club membership (including kayo). Do you then have 15 months left?

    • found these two on the Hawthorn Page - https://membership.hawthornfc.com.au/membership/hawks-ondema…

Can I upgrade my current Kayo plan to include the Hawthorn membership benefits?3
Yes! By switching from your current digital subscription to Hawthorn's Hawks on Demand membership, you can save as much as $95 for 12 months. The benefits don't stop there—as a Hawks on Demand member, you'll also get General Admission access to 1 Hawthorn home game in Melbourne or even a chance to bring a friend for free to a select Hawthorn home game in Melbourne, as well as a membership pack and a $25 shop voucher.

Once you switch to Hawks on Demand, you'll receive a unique code to enter easily into your Kayo subscription. Simply input this code into your Kayo account, and it will automatically recalculate your payments for the next 12 months. This process ensures a seamless transition and allows you to start enjoying all the exclusive benefits and content of Hawks on Demand via Kayo Sports PLUS while still using your existing Kayo plan.

    • What if I already have a Kayo account? How can I link it to access the Hawks on Demand content?4
Upon purchasing Hawks on Demand, you only need to enter the code into your existing Kayo subscription. This simple process automatically applies the discount for the next 12 months, granting you immediate access to all the benefits and content available through Hawks on Demand. It's a hassle-free way to upgrade your subscription and enjoy a whole new sports streaming experience.

  • these prices are insane haiyaaa

  • The kayo price increases are laughable. Don't waste your money. Watch what you can for free and do something better with your life then watching and paying kayo. You won't look back one you cancel.

    • Same can be said for everything - Netflix, Spotify, etc

One or two beers at the pub watching a game would be easily more than the monthly cost (and one is never one). Let alone going to the games, that ends up costing a lot.

It's ok if you don't like sport, not everyone does. Subscription increases are the pits though, not many workarounds for Kayo.

      • Plenty of work arounds unless you want to watch archived sports.

I quit Kayo recently. NBL/NFL was the only thing keeping me and that is on Disney now.

Otherwise its the most useless and costly of the streaming family imo.

        • Yes have a look at Kodi and the loop.
Aussie sports and AFL isn't as common but know what you mean.

I can't help but agree that yearly price increases (gouges) as well as the cost of living turns people away ultimately, and some will find free alternatives.

    • Fair point. I am in Geelong, to go to a game is an all day thing really… train, lunch, game, beers. If I can watch from home through 3 hours and still be engaged with the family, you could argue Kayo is giving me time back for life!

    • Terrible advice. I want to watch the footy… advice = don't watch the footy. okay mate.

      • Agreed he/she is clueless. I only want it for footy as well. It’s ridiculously expensive now.

    • What iptv do you recommend for live sports?

        • Says you don't accept new conversations.

Can you dm me, sorry. I can fwd onto the others?

        • Dm you too

        • DM’d cheers

    • Any recommendations? I've been having a look at RBTV77 but keen on other options.

    • Go on..

        • Cheers

    • Just sent you a DM too

  • Anyone have a working link for the existing WCE members discount? The one listed on the page 404s.
    https://am.ticketmaster.com/westcoasteagles/eagles-on-demand…

  • Can't sign in with my current ticketmaster account.
Just says "Pardon the Interruption, There is a problem with your account. Please contact the Box Office at for assistance."

But I can login fine directly on the ticketmaster website…weird.

  • I only want it for AFL, so I guess I'll bregrudingly pay the extortionate $46 month for 6 months. Still cheaper than getting this 12 month deal

    • Starting to creep up to Foxtel prices and for just sport.

    • If you half this deal with someone you could get premium for $180 for 12 months

  • Like others, unsure of my plans for kayo this footy season. $46 per month is starting to feel like footy fans are footing the bill for kayo to survive on the AFL season’s off-months. Pretty sure this would take prices up 50 per cent in just two to three years.

  • Essendon supporters, like me, should get a discount for the shorter season.

  • Would be good to check for last year's membership rollover. Got an Email from GWS offering Kayo premium at $345 for 2026.

  • Never signing up for any 12 month sport kayo deal again complete scam

    • How so?

    • Lol what. How is it a scam

  • If you're just buying these for discounted kayo, the NRL clubs digital memberships are cheaper @ Standard $275, Premium $345. Eg Parramatta Eels or NQ Cowboys.

  • Kayo (4K) is basically the same price I'm paying for the Foxtel full package with an iQ5 box

    • How do you get full package at that price?

      • Am with Foxtel from Telstra; when I tried to call to cancel they gave me a discount which didn't have an end date.

Telstra no longer sells Foxtel services, but still supports existing Telstra-Foxtel customers

  • The pricing of Kayo now reflects the fact that everyone shares their accounts.

    • No they don't.

Think carefully before using blanket terms such as 'everyone'.

  • thanks op

  • What if you already have a club membership for 2026? Is there a discount option to add Kayo only that anyone's found?

  • Is $375 for Kayo Premium through GWS for new subscribers only? I got a renewal offer of $345/yr for Kayo Premium from GWS.

  • Does anyone know how much the Merchandise voucher is at Fremantle Dockers?

  • Hi guys please be kind, I’m sharing a premium account with my 73 year old dad, I live in Melbourne he lives in the bush, are we only allowed to have it on one screen each? I know I can log in and out but I will have to commit hari kiri if I have to talk him through that every time he wants to watch it on his phone and then transfer back to the big telly, especially if I’m trying to watch the footy. Or can the devices all be logged, in just not streaming on more than two at once?

    • Two streams at a time max for premium.
Just set it up on his phone and telly and say use one or the other.

      • Thank you v much. You’re helping me avoid a family stoush

  • Has anyone else been recently getting account sharing notices on their kayo for a premium subscription that's been split between two people? Do we know if Kayo is about to implement the same geo-restriction trickery as Netflix started doing a few years ago?

    • This is a risk which throws out the "everyone shares their accounts" mentioned above.

It's sad that watching AFL has come to needing to pay $46 per month.

Many just won't be able to afford it.

    • I got this today. Was previously sharing with my brother. No more. 😒

  • Can we buy it now and activate in March?

  • So what increase from last year for this deal, can't remember what it was

  • The T&Cs say the below but does that take into account the upcoming price increase?

Membership subject to terms and conditions; voucher codes will be sent starting December 02, 2025. Voucher codes can be activated anytime until October 31, 2026 and will be valid for 12 months from time of activation

Must sign up via unique code provided your AFL Club. Must sign up by the November 30, 2026 .

    • Would be fine if you purchase it before the increase I assume.

      • Cool cheers…we already have a plan that expires in March so hence why I wanted to get this now and activate it after that one ends.

  • Would love to know if theres an IPTV alternative… Im sick of paying for their broken service!

    • What's broken about it?

      • Pretty straightforward isn't it.

        • Works fine for me. It was pretty rubbish about 5 years ago but haven't had any problems for ages.

  • I'm currently on a retention offer of $25 per month, but this will go up $6 per month with the new price rise - so I might instead lock it in with one of the AFL memberships, and then get merch discount and general admin pass (eg at AFL Demons)

  • Does anyone know if you can use Ticketmaster gift cards to make payment for these AFL digital memberships?

    • I was wondering the same but looks Iike from dummy booking can only use PayPal or credit card

      • That's disappointing. Thanks.
