Hi Ozbargains,

As is inevitable I misjudged demand for a number of product lines while I was on annual leave and a number of our best sellers ran out of stock while I was away. Anyway now I've been back for a week or so we have started to restock everything we ran out of during the xmas and new year break. The item I received the most complaints about being OOS was our Allermist product. Dymista is a huge seller for us, but as its pretty pricey, we get many requests for a generic alternate containing the same active ingredients.

If you miss out again, keep in mind Misty Duo *note this code should still be running - contains the same active ingredient, but just seems to be less well known due to its lack of manufacturer marketing.

Anyway - the good news is we've restocked Allermist and have quite a few short dated Nasal decongestant sprays in stock, so I am happy to throw in a 200x Spray Nasal Decongestant with every sales of tonights deal, please select FREE post at checkout, like the last few deals I will comp satchel delivery with tracking for Ozbargainers:

  • Anything for allergy eye drops?

Not currently, but leave it with me, we've had a few requests

      • this would be great if possible

      • ketotifen please 🙏🏻 Zaditen is oos everywhere

      • I need that too bro

Ketotifen - Rumour via insiders that certain brands may be withdrawing from the Australian market leading to massive rush on this product and consequently no stock anywhere, all stock in AU at wholesale level currently sold out - I have placed a backorder in at manufacturer level on the next shipment - I will offer to Ozbargainers before the general market.

  • Well do these compare to the rihnocort standard version?

    • Dymista offers faster relief

      • I already have the decongestant spray, so don't need another and I'm familiar with it.

Any special on just the spray without the decongestant spray?

    • it's generic dymista with intranasal steroid and antihistamine which should be quicker acting than rhinocort which is intranasal steroid only. just take care not to use the bonus decongestant for more than 3 days. god i hate these bundles

Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

      • Thanks for the info. How does this compare to Ryaltris ?

        • similar, ryaltris also antihistamine/steroid, just different type - olapatadine/mometasone. ryaltris probably a bit better as mometasone quicker to act - dissolves better and more viscous but difference isn't going to be significant. may come down to cost and dosing device preference. dymista tends to taste quite bitter. try them both

          • @V2L: Thanks there, having tried Dymista in the past it never really worked for me whereas I found Ryaltris a lot more effective on me. Hence Im looking for a generic brand which works similar as it to reduce the cost, one bottle costs about 47-50 bucks.

            • @Ramly Burger: unfortunately they hold the patent which isn't expiring any time soon - so no generic likely to be available. mometasone by itself is cheap though with plenty of generic formulations. you can potentially try that + an antihistamine separately if cost is a concern

              • @V2L: If you get to the point in life your GP perscribes Ryaltris then you are missing something in your household/yard, etc. Not impressed at the $50 cost of ryaltris and the consult fee $120 when sea water (saline ocean water) in a recycled santied nasal spray works better when required to remove those sticky logs and lumps.

Take a beach day or week or more, if you feel better walking along the beach, having a swim, breathing in the salty air, lower humidity and wonder how come.
You are smart enough to figure it out, no matter how much pressure is in your head.

The link between allegeries and asthma, more prone to easily catch cold and flu, towards arthritis can be found in some family lines. And it is just as easy to find solutions such as sweeping the floors daily to reduce itchy eyes, change towels, bedding weekly or often to reduce allergy symtomps, etc.

SEQLD and other areas have longer periods of rain and humidity. Since the last drought in 2013-2019 and the crap muggy weather from 2020-now ongoing we are still looking for solutions which can't be found in western medicine, only some relief.

What’s the expiry date on the Allermist?

I pray your business continues to succeed, your anti-histamine/allergrm deals are a god send in terms of relative relief for me, suffering from Chronic Urticeria gets expensive real fast, so it genuinely helps me to save a solid chunk on my medical expenses :)

  • Thanks @jason101 similar situation to post above

  • Can someone please educate me how this product compare to Ryaltris ?
