Checked sub options for Gemini through my iPhone in Türkiye and turns out there's a Plus tier that gives you higher Gemini limits as well as 200Gb storage.

Website shows 50% off for 6 months but through the App Store there's no offer and is just the standard ₺199,99.

        Worked for me this morning. My YT Premium sub got paused since I forgot to top up my Apple account and even though I went through and re-activated the subscription in the AppStore settings, it didn't renew my premium (rip $6.50) and the app gave me a wrong country error. Went through the YT Music app after and it worked fine.

      Does it work if you try to subscribe via iOS settings?
      Settings >[Your Name] (Apple Account) -> Subscriptions (Make sure you're signed in to your Turkiye account under 'Media and Purchases' -> Youtube - >See all plans

      Still works for me on iOS device. I have a Turkish Apple ID. I sign into it on my iPad, set the language and region to Turkey, use a Turkish Apple Gift Card to top up my account. I then go on the Youtube app > settings > subscription (or whatever order it is), and select my plan and it is in Lira. I make it use my balance from Apple, and just top up my apple account when it is low.

      I can confirm this works as YouTube tried to crack down on me in December, but I got it back up and running within 30 minutes.

        Mine was working just fine but I got greedy for $1.5/month and said why am I paying for Family when Im using by myself . Then probably from my ip address youtube knew I was in Australia

    To set up a new country or region, you must be in that location and have a payment method from the new country or region.
    If you’re a member of a Google Family group, you can’t change your Google Play country or region.

    Google one Turkey is slightly cheaper at around $70/year. I swear it was only about $20 last year. Not sure if it gives more AI stuff than this but gives 2TB storage.

      Yeah, Google bumped up the price for Google One Türkiye from ~$20 to ~$70+ end of last year (at least that was when they sent me the price increase email). I do see "Plus" next to my avatar in the AI products mentioned in this deal.

        Gemini is one of top AI tools these days, even chatgpt them selves said that they are falling behind. Perplexity on the other hand could be better as it combines 9ai tools at once and takes best results, you also can select answers from Gemini or chatgpt specific from it.

        Note that when we say Gemini is better this is for our use, each AI is better in an aspect, the overall is that Gemini is better, but if using it in a specific case, chatgpt could be better for you. So better try before you decide.

        Any time in the past I tried Gemini I ended up back on ChatGPT. Tried Gemini about a month ago, this time I haven't gone back. Not sure if it's better or worse, it's not noticeable to me. I already get it free with the Youtube premium and Google One crap so I just cancelled ChatGPT.

          Gemini was crap for a long time, but now they are leaders, less than 2 months ago they introduced gemini 3.0 flash and this was the key point that flipped the table over other ai tools

            @StarGrapper: Yeah I think around the time they introduced that is when I tried it again, although I use the 'pro' one whatever it's called. Feel like it solves issues relating to my homelab better than ChatGPT was, but it's just a 'feel' thing.

        I have Chatgpt pro for work, and the free pro perplexity.

        After slowly getting used to perplexity, I think I like it more now. Searches online sources more, and gives you just answers, rather than a long winded explanation and then the answer.

        Either way, it changes with every update, so in 3 months, ChatGPT 5.6 could be out and this comment is irrelevant.

      Gemini is regarded as the leading model at the moment. It's essentially been on top for 2 or so months now. Need to see if chatgpt can catch up.

      Gemini is good at quick answers. ChatGPT feels more like the more you learn how it behaves, the more you get out of it. You notice is suddenly getting smarter or dumber in certain areas with updates.

          I think Adobe creates a tool to detect and prevent geo login. It's very annoying. For Google, I don't think they enforce that yet. They allow some geo deals to survice still.

    Changed my google account to Turkey but when I update the subscription to the pro model through the Gemini iOS app, the AI plan option still comes up in AUD. Where do you upgrade the plan to see Turkish prices?

    So, I have a question! I have been using Google Drive through Turkey and now in this deal it says that this subscription includes Google Drive 2TB. If I signup for this, will my existing drive files remain? Also, can I use this subscriptions on laptops/desktop as well and only signing up on iOS is required? Or is this only for use on iOS?

    Also, what are the steps to sign up for this? Do I need to change the region of my apple device to Turkey before doing it? Please help!

    I'm currently paying $49 for the 200gb basic plan

    But the gemini plus plans are shown as $149 AUD / Yearly instead

    Since i'm a Gemini junkie, it's still a good deal paying $149 isntead of $30 chatPOS
