TA's Tracking Tips:

  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave and close any additional browser tabs.
  • For iOS device: Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • SIM must be activated within 30 days of purchase in order to be eligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is eligible on initial purchase only, and not on any recharges.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any gift cards, vouchers, or store credit for partial or full payment. Cashback is also ineligible on purchase of any gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Cashback is paid once per order/transaction, regardless of the number of plans purchased on that order.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, DNS AdGuard, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • Accept and allow all 3rd party cookies on the retailer's page if requested.
  • Return to TopCashback to click the 'Get Cashback' button for each new transaction.
  • Transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted or negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

  • Felix is powered by the Vodafone 5G/4G network covering 98.4% of the Australian population.
  • Felix is part of the TPG Telecom group.

Plan auto-renews every month until you cancel.

Can I cancel my felix subscription?

  • You can cancel your subscription with felix at any time with no exit fees. You can also pause your subscription if you prefer for up to 119 days, after which time your account will be suspended.

  • To cancel, head to the felix mobile app > Settings > Phone and service settings > Cancel my service > Yes, cancel my service.

  • After cancelling, you can still use your subscription until the end of the current billing cycle.

How does the payment cycle work?

  • Your felix plan automatically renews on the same day each month from the day your mobile service is activated. If your renewal date is the last day of the month, it will remain that way ongoing (no matter how many days there are in the following months) unless your subscription ends and you resume it on a different day.

  • The renewal will occur automatically at around 11:59 PM Sydney time on your renewal date, unless you decide to switch your number to another provider, pause, or cancel beforehand. This renewal date is determined by when you activated your physical SIM or the date you chose to bring your number across with eSIM.

  • Any credit in your felix wallet will automatically be applied towards your renewal amount.

  • I've been on their unlimited plan for a few years. Satisfied customer. Slow, but fine for web browsing and streaming video. And "unlimited" downloads, ie, within reason. For $35 per month; $40 per month for new customers.

    • Did yours go up to $40? I got an email and SMS to say it was going up to $40pm for January but then they still charged the same $35.

      • they started charging me $40 since January

      • No email/sms yet. $35 as of late december.

        • If you don't need to keep the number, try "referring" your another email address every 4 months and cancel the old one the month before you're activating the next SIM. This becomes $20/month, plus the cashback if there happens to be a deal like this within 30 days of expiry of your current deal.

          • @brianmau: So, referral does not invalidate the cashback? If so, can't you just do it monthly (if there's a cashback going) to push the cost per month down?

            • @Its4me: If cashback is rejected, unfortunately you won't be able to submit a claim:

Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.

            • @Its4me: YMMV. I'll keep my mouth shut lol.
PS: Frequent user of CRW/SB/TCB, and been on Felix for home internet for 4+ years.

            • @Its4me: Again if in doubt you can always use the provided code to guarantee a cashback. It just finishes 1 month earlier when compared to referral and you might need another email address to activate the new number (the number is removed from your account 3 months after you cancel the service) if you want to keep churning that way.

    • Same lol, as a sole user I just Hotspot my phone for all my internet needs. I connect up to 5 devices at once, it's mad.

      • That's what I do too. Won't suit everyone!

      • Doesn't it kill the battery? I have it wired to a mango router on an old phone, and that daisy chained to 2 other old routers around the house from previous ISP subscriptions. Two adults + child household.

  • Vodafone though?

  • How would current a current customer changing from a physical sim to an esim suddenly become eligible for cashback?

The instructions provided explain how to change to an esim in the app but I can't see how that would be tracked by cashback?

    • They are the instructions from Felix for converting to eSIM from physical SIM and unrelated to cashback.

      I've edited the post to:

If you have purchased a physical SIM and want to convert to eSIM:

      T&Cs:

Cashback is eligible on initial purchase only, and not on any recharges.

  • Using unlimited plan and the data is bad. I don't what's the issue is but it feels like the data is disconnecting intermittently, contacted the support several times and tried to resolve it but still the same. Will be moving to another network. If they change to Optus or Telstra it will be great to be on Felix.

    • What speeds are u getting they claim it’s max is 40mbps which is only really good enough for 1080p video and browsing

      • The speed is not fixed but that's not the issue. The issue is at tye same spot it works fine and after a couple of mins or something while using the Internet connectivity stops or get really high delay or something, So it feels like the connection is not smooth and there are intermittent disconnections. If the data was smooth on 40mbps or even a little less it would have been great.

        • Same for normal Vodafone post-paid SIM

          • @andylch: Bc that's what Felix repackages. But it depends where you are. We're within a short distance from a Vodafone antenna, so reception is fine. I have it on an old phone, which I leave stationery, connected to a mango router, and daisy chained to two other routers. All works (except when the modem phone's battery drains out — still working on that, but no probs 98% of the time).

      • I get max of around 25 Mb/s, from inside a large sheet metal shed with one window (don't ask). Mostly ok for 720p.

        • I find 15 Mb/s perfectly good for 1080p.

  • Is the cash back per month or once off ?

    • Cashback is a one-off.

  • fyi for people currently with felix - you can leave for a day then redo 4 months half price promo / get cashback again

    • Aren't you a professional churna?

    • How do you keep your number ?

      • Port out and port back in? 🤔

    • … if you're keeping the number. If you're using it for data, and the number doesn't matter, refer a new + gmail address from your current one, and get 4 months — instead of 3 — at half price (+cashback).
