    alright time of year?

    • Yeah not bad February to December

Is SQ turning into a budget carrier or what? They use the shittiest "medium haul" A359 config for some Australian routes which doesn't even have premium economy, only a handful of J class and the rest is cattle class.

    • +2

Genuine question, but what’s wrong with that? I thought lots of airlines still go with just economy and business and skip premium economy altogether?

      • It's no good for business or reward flyers as there's extremely limited availability in J class and therefore intense competition. So SQ wins both ways…their most profitable fare paying seats are highly sought after and reward flyers have less of a chance to claim one.

I dont see thats a problem. A lot of airlines doesnt have premium economy anyway. Plus they have first class and suits to big city. Maybe you from the shitty town thats why they use shit plane. Count yourself lucky you even have flight out of that town

      • Intriguing someone purportedly from Dandenong has the hubris to label other places as "shitty towns" πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ there's two daily departures from the city I live in, remind me how many the Nong has?

        • Unfortunately, We have 6 flights per day and one of them is A380-800 with Suits. Maybe let me introduce you to suits, apparently you never see them before, or A380-800 in your shitty town.

They use the aircraft that best suits the markets - if there is little demand for PE, they will deploy those aircraft elsewhere.

      • I think you'll find more full fare airlines servicing Australia offer a W cabin than don't. Qantas does…

Terrible website on a mobile device

    • I see similar comments too many times and website owner doesnt even care to fix that..

      • Literally rebuilt the content part last week, and the search part rebuild is coming next month.

  • ooh this will come in handy to visit family. thanks for sharing OP

  • @beatthatflight - why can i never seem to find the flight advertised at the correct price? Brisbane - Ho Chi Minh City return on Singapore Airlines 8-19 March should be $701, but when i go to the booking site, i'ts always more? cheapest i can see is $875 with Singapore Airlines.

    • on presumption you're the same who msg'd me on fb - yeah unfortunately often there's only a few on every given date, so 3-4 days after posting it's quite feasible some will have gone. Best option is to click around nearby dates and see if you can find something similar. :/

  • I just wanted to say thank you! I found a very good price of ~1400 to Barcelona on dates that work for me (~16may to 23may), incredible!

    • awesome!
