Knit shorts…..are these ok for running? Can’t see what material they are online. Only this:

Elevate your workout style with these Reebok Training Knit Shorts. Designed with a lightweight knit fabric and above-knee cut, they feature an elastic waistband, side pockets, and a subtle heathered texture with a playful embroidered logo on the left leg. Ideal for gym sessions or casual days, pair them with trainers and a neat t-shirt for a truly versatile look.

Wow Rebook is a Big W brand now.

I knew they had fallen out of popularity a bit but not that much.

Remember the Nike VS Rebook war of the 80s and 90s….

    • Not anymore it seems…

    • Joining brands like Ecko, Fila, Travesty (I think was the brand, it used to be sold at Edge Clothing stores for males, ridiculous prices like $40+ for thin material T-shirts lol).

      So you’re 80s kid lol

My first branded shoes were Reebok runners, with Hexalite and ERS

      ah the nostalgia

    • Adidas bought Reebok as a subsidiary in 2005, but sold it to Authentic Brands Group about five years ago.
There's very little heritage to it's British origins.

I almost bought a pair of these before Christmas, they didn't have a price tag on them so I opted for these over the Circuit ones, purely because of the brand name, not because they were any better technically or stylishly.
When they scanned at $40 I almost choked.

They are no better than the $12 Crane ones at Aldi recently.

      • TIL thanks

Dang. Bought these when they were $24. Very comfy. Definitely suitable for running. Only negative is the struggle to fit a mobile phone in your pocket. It will fall out with any sort of bending movement.

    • Thank you kind sir

Make sure to check sizing as there's no exchange or refund on clearance items.

  • Are these really worth $50..

    • I own them and no, they're not.

      • Maybe more relevant right now is "are they worth 15"

        • Yes. Worth 15.

    • No. They are almost the same as the $12 Crane ones at Aldi recently.

Thanks Op, I grabbed a pair. The 'playful embroidered logo' sealed the deal.

  • The kmart exercise shorts are excellent. Highly recommend. $12

    • Their tops are great too
      (I'm a group fitness instructor)

  • is there mesh inside?
