I’ve never had much luck bringing my own parts to mechanics to fit. Most have declined and instead want them to supply.
Every mechanic i have ever used has let me buy the parts myself, so i guess it depends on where you live. Maybe not stealership mechanic's though as i never use them.

Had a chat with one of the blokes at my local sca when i was putting in a special order. They wanna get rid of thei remaining bosch stock and then will switch to ngk.
Repco also having a clearance. Even cheaper for a lot of them, down to $2 per plug for some models.
Saved $100 on 6 for N52. Hope they are as good as NGK.

It depends… if you have a bent piston rod, then that's hard to fix. A blown head gasket sounds like fun but a coolant leak at the wrong time is disastrous.

FFS FR8DPP33+ are $6 but I need 16 of them for my car. LAst time I needs them I spent half a day driving to various Repcos to get the full 16. They had them on clearance for $4 so it was worth the effort.

I extensively researched customer reviews on both NGK and Bosch. I found far more reviews indicating Bosch plugs failing prematurely or performing poorly. I also found consumers generally lean toward NGK. So…
Looking for a set of plugs for BA Falcon, pretty simple you would assume. Maybe not. Look up repco and stating fits your car, then SCA say it doesnt, then go to other sites and they vary also. Might be easier just go factory ones from Ford to be sure.

What a deal, I used to put these in my Camry as Toyota recommends them. With my current Suzuki Swift I just use regular plugs. These last 100000kms easily, bargain!!!!

OE replacement for bmw m54 engines, 6 for $6 each is a killer deal compared to the general $13-15ish for equivalent ngk/bosch OE replacements, cheers OP
