Anaconda stock these and will price beat by 10%.

I got the fly more with remote for $588 earlier this month doing that.

If they won't match digidirect. Call DJI and tell them you can get it cheaper and they will write you a quote for similar price and get anaconda to beat that

    • They don't stock it. Can purchase only by ordering so no price beat on this.

    • Theu just pumped up the price of DJI neo 2. I just parked outside anaconda

      • +1

They did not have any stock anywhere anyway. I tried and they said can't be price beat if not in stock.

I got one for $600 and d1store but just before digidirect changed the prices.

Gg I got DJI Neo 2 from Harvey Norman for $399 2 weeks ago. The obstacle avoidance is pretty bad indoor, and would crash into stuff. Was hoping this drone will help me to shoot my Hip-pop dancing video.

The “obstacle avoidance” mode will be needed to toggle on in the Mobile App, and will not appear until you updated the firmware. Took me quite a while and puzzled wondering why my settings have a lot less options than YouTube tutorials.

    • +1

Somehow it would crash into ceiling indoor, and warn you no GPS signals.

    • Do they advertise it can be used indoors though?

      • Newly added omnidirectional monocular vision system and forward-facing LiDAR: With the new omnidirectional obstacle sensing feature [1], Neo 2 can detect and avoid obstacles when tracking from the front or sides, so even beginners can operate the drone with ease, stability, and confidence. Neo 2 supports versatile flight [2], with enhanced hovering and positioning capabilities over Neo, making it easier to navigate challenging environments like indoors, near buildings, over water, or on snow.

So “indoor” was a selling “point”?

        • That's interesting good to know I was considering the Neo 2 not for indoor use though. DJI are usually mostly spot on with their claims, not sure why it failed your indoor use case.

        • User error. These fly fine indoors if you know what you are doing.

  • Good prices!

Do these guys still sell stock they don't actually have available?

    • +5

      Yes

      Yes. It's a real PITA

  • Amazon is selling the pocket 3 at $611

You can buy modded batteries from ali with double the flight time for the neo 2. More useful than the flymore combo imho.

    • Do you happen to have a link?

    • +1

Have you heard any feedback on how good these batteries are? Double the flight time seems pretty optimistic.

      • With how "smart" dji batteries are I'm guessing either
        - constant errors on the app
        - won't discharge itself if not used

    • Sounds like the last thing you should be buying! Modded batteries!

Sounds like a house fire waiting to happen…

  • Keen to get one of these for the auto tracking.
Tempted to get the combo and sell my Mini 3.
Or do I just get the neo 2 by itself and keep the mini 3 🤔.

    • @dan76n That's what I plan on doing too, but I've got the Mini 2.

Depends what you're doing with it, but for me, I don't think it's worth keeping both.

Keep in mind that the Neo has a very limited range. If you’re using a drone to capture wide, scenic shots, the Neo won’t be able to handle most of those situations. It’s really meant for short‑range photos and videos. Each device is suited to different types of shooting scenarios

      • +1

It’s still got decent range with the controller. Maybe not so much if using a mobile phone.

      • +2

Neo 2 with controller can fly 2km without issues
but battery is the bottleneck and will be even worse in windy condition

      • Are you sure you’re talking about the Neo 2? The Neo 2 can go past 2km range on range testing (subject to wind and interference of course). The battery is what limits it to go further.

      • +1

Tested past 4km by a YouTuber, was a one way trip due to battery though. Signal was full strength.

    • I reckon it depends on the use. The Mini 3 has a better camera, but this is so much more fun and you can smash it into things and it'll still bounce back. Even if it doesn't, it's quite cheap to replace. And the DJI Care plan is also super cheap.

    Can't lift TM62 - no deal

    • Nope, but it can do a M67

Personally id be getting JB or someone to price match it. This company are notorious for advertising things they dont have.

Tried to buy a card reader from them on the 2nd of December off the back of Black Friday sales, click and collect order. Got an email saying it'll take up to 72 hours as they didn't have stock in Brisbane. Fine. Then it started dragging on. No updates.

I went overseas in the mean time, and when I got back, I still hadn't gotten any updates. Rang the store last week. They said they didn't have stock so they had to get one in. They lost that one in transit and have no idea when they'll get stock, they also didn't update me on that.

Cancelled the order and went straight to Amazon. Might have been an extra $20 but I got the reader two days later, as oppposed to handing over money for something that I can never get my hands on.

      • Yeah they screwed me last year with the dji mini 3 sale. Didnt have many in stock.Amazon and JB dropped their prices to match so everyone who went with the other retailers got their drones, while those who bought through dodgy direct got no drone, excuses, and a delayed refund.

  • +1

Thanks been looking for a deal on this! Ordered one from JB.

    • Did they match the price?

      • yes
