NOTE ORIGINAL DEAL OF $39.99 PRICE ALTERED TO $42.99 DUE TO OOS OF ONE OF THE BONUS STOCK ITEMS - DEAL WILL NOW SHIP WITH 50x PANAMAX IN LIEU OF THE 16x PARACETAMOL - PLEASE ALLOW AROUND 5 WORKING DAYS FOR RESTOR STOCK TO ARRIVE AND FOR ME TO GET THROUGH ALL ORDERS

Hi Ozbargainers,

I ran this deal a month or so ago (with lesser bonus items) and we ran out of stock literally after a few hours and then as more stock kept arriving and I kept relisting and we kept running OOS until I basically gave up trying to relist due to overwhelming demand and limited stock dribbling in, I got all the orders out we had and quietly let the deal expire.

Anyway after a few weeks I have built up enough stock for around 100 sales tonight and I have bundled up pretty much all of the supplier bonus stock we have at hand and am including it all with each purchase of this deal tonight, so I am pretty sure it will be a winner. Please note the dating of the bonus stock is short, but it was a freebie to me and I'm paying it forward, if you use 50% and bin the rest it's still a great deal!

Really, you had all of those side effects, sounds terrible….

All medications have side effects, they effect a very small percentage of people. All I can suggest is that Ozbargainers do their own research and make their own choices. This is an Australian made, TGA approved medicine, sold by an Australian pharmacy.

      "In most cases,
side effects from minoxidil do not continue after you stop using it. Because minoxidil has a short half-life (about 3–4 hours), it generally leaves your system within a few days, allowing temporary side effects like scalp irritation, itching, or dizziness to subside"

If you have limpus dicus after ceasing the medication you may need to consult a medical professional, its possible you have other issues not related to ceasing minoxidil usage.

Nothing 100g of Viagra can't solve

        • +8

You mean mg right? Not 1/10th of a kilo coz ur member never go down if you had that

        • Should be part of the deal imo

    • +11

Geez strong words considering you are referring to a entirely different drug called finasteride.

Homer Simpson used Minoxidil and he didnt suffer ED

      • +1

You may find this hard to believe, but in my salad days, my crowning glory was a bright shock of strawberry blonde curls

    • sorry for your losses

    • +3

      You're thinking of finasteride.

      This is minoxidil.

Oh and "very likely" is like 1-2% of users

    • +1

Hmm fulll head of hair or a boner. Tough choice.

      • +1

this will give you a boner full of hair so best of both worlds!

    • What an absolute load of crap I'm in my 50s and balding like most of my mates we're all used in it half of us have had success with no side effects

    • Ah yes, a mouth piece of misinformation

  • +4

Just lose it gracefully or shave your head and look like Diesel (either Vin Diesel or Johnny Diesel).

    • +1

This is the true deal here.

    • I prefer to look like Johnny Sins

  • Any other 8 months deal that works out cheaper?

  • I purchased minoxidil from Jason in December. Will report back if I think it works. I’m using it 1-2 times a day sometimes alternating with champo if I want to smell nice 😊

  • I heard the oral minoxidil tablets, along with the Finasteride would work better? Yeah?

    • +2

For 60% of men, topical doesn't work. For about 10% (roughly), it works very well.

Oral works for everyone, and is a good risk tradeoff for ~95% of men at a dose like 2.5mg (start low and titrate up).

Most are probably safe at 5mg, which has more pronounced hair growth effects, but work with your GP or dermatologist.

      • Is oral minoxidil script only?

        • +2

Yes. If your GP/derm agrees, go for Loniten and split it with a pill cutter or careful with a knife, it'll be really cheap.

But you can also get capsules made up from a compounding chemist which is very convenient, but costs many times more (veeery roughly a dollar a day)

          • @Wolfenstein98k: Good to know, thanks.
Was temped but prob not great to ingest the typical stuff to get the 5mg. Lol

      • Cheers my man

  • I have spent hundreds of hours digging into this topic, and tried a few different things. Dug through research (without AI!), forums, discussed with doctors, etc.

Happy to take questions. This topic can be a killer for men.

    • Your recommendation?

      • +4

Try topical (OP product), if it works for you, it's better to use than oral (less systemic side effects).

I gave it up because I didn't respond (like 60% of men don't), and I hated using it daily because it made my hair greasy. Some people use that to style their hair and like it, but for me (with dead straight thin hair) it just clumped it and made it look bad.

And ultimately: if you are balding, the only way to stop that is Finasteride or dutasteride. These address the root cause of balding.

Minoxidil is a regrowth agent but it doesn't stop the progression of balding.

It also tends to grow best on the crown, and rarely on the hairline.

    • Is it recommended for the patchy beard as well? should go for Sprays or Liquid?

      • +1

Mixed reviews on beards. Can't advise much.

I've heard topical works for some, and oral does have an effect.

  • +1

I’ve been using topical minoxidil for 1.5 years and have had huge success so far. The results are so noticeable (I take a photo once a month) that I suspect my original hair loss may have been caused by temporary hormone spikes that later resolved on their own or that minoxidil, in my case, really works wonders.
If we go with the latter, then in my experience this minoxidil does not work the same way as the Regaine brand from the pharmacy.
Again, this is just my personal experience and observation.

    • 1) I'm very glad for you. You sound like a hyper-responder. Congratulations

      2) If you're a male, balding is 99% of the time Male Pattern Baldness. Chances are, you just caught it early and your response to Min is so high that you grow faster than you lose.

But it's very unlikely you are not going to continue to lose, and that your cause was transient.

What was the pattern of your loss? Thinking on top and/or hairline recession, probably starting at the corners?

      • In my case, it started at the crown only. The rest has been fine so far, i mean the outer hairline (even the front one) hasn’t been affected yet.

  • Any deals with the minoxidil liquid version?

  • Hey @jason101
is the expiry same for Panamax (April 2026)?

    • +1

It’s either mid or late 2027 from memory (sorry browsing from bed atm so can’t check)
