Book an Air New Zealand Flight through Virgin for Double Velocity Points @ Velocity Frequent Flyer (Activation Required)

Email received today from Virgin Australia - you will earn double velocity points when you book an Air New Zealand flight with a Velocity number (i.e. book an Air New Zealand flight through the Virgin Australia website).

You will need to log into the Velocity app or the Velocity website in order to view and activate this offer.

Once upon a time it was more expensive to book Air New Zealand flights through Virgin, but from a quick comparison just now, it looks like prices are the same across either booking platform.

From the T&Cs:

1. Activate this offer between 27 January and 5 February 2026,
2. Book an eligible Air New Zealand operated flight with a VA flight number between Australia and Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch between 27 January and 5 February 2026 and add your Velocity membership number to your eligible booking before you fly.
3. Travel on the eligible flight booked during the offer period between 1 March and 30 June 2026.
