@Skye Cellars just a bit of feedback re the Clearance Boxes, I got one of the white/rose/sparkling ones at the end of the year and whilst I know it's a bit of a "what have we got left over" situation, I was surprised when I got 4 bottles (a full 3rd of the case) of the same Pinot Gris. In this instance it was ok in that its quite tasty, but if it was something that I didn't enjoy I'd be a bit shirty about it. Maybe a little more guidance for the warehouse clearance teams in that regard.

Besides that though, loving my membership, some absolutely cracking wines at incredible prices, and it's great to be pushed out of my comfort zone and forced to drink things I wouldn't normally take off the shelf myself.

Hmm. The St Hugo cab sav is a classic, though has been having substantial price rises.
The Shiraz is good too, but hasn't the same decades of pedigree.
From memory, 22 was the better vintage.

Either would be welcome gifts for red wine drinkers.

    • Thanks. I'm more of a cab sav person as I like the smooth flavours but happy to try this for the value :D
What's your go to cab sav in the $30-$60 range?

      • I don’t drink much wine these days, so take this with a grain of salt. The St Hugo definitely rates. It isn’t very cool kids, but Wynn’s black label is incredibly consistent and always good quality.
Other things in the cellar I am looking forward to are Katnook, Parker and Riddoch.
I can’t recommend any small wineries, as I don’t remember which vintages I have liked and they often vary. That is the fun bit, finding a lesser known wine you really like.

        • Thanks friend. I ended up getting the shiraz and cab sav. I'm sure I'll drink them all :D

  • We also have a few cases remaining of the 2012 & 2013 St Hugo Shiraz at $210/6-Pack.
