    Just a reminder that Blackmagic Resolv is arguably better than Final Cut Pro, and 100% free.

    Most people probably already have Pixelmator Pro.

    And there are free alternatives to Pro Logic. Like LMMS, Audacity, Cakewalk, etc. But Blackmagic Resolv has a great audio mixer built in, so you probably won’t need it.

    $49AUD (or $4.99 monthly) if you qualify as a student via Apple AU, but this subscription can’t be shared it seems. If you’re buying just for yourself but and can pass whatever student validation is asked of you, it’s cheaper than via India.

        Looks like you might be able to add it when buying a new MacBook, but can’t see a standalone purchase. Also when buying a Mac it’s bundled into the Mac line in the checkout, so you can’t then remove the Mac and leave the software.
