Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Just need Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint for some basic use. What is the cheapest way to buy/download at the moment? Cheers.

        Does the same thing.

@jv: Depends what you're using it for I suppose. For most people it does the same thing.

    its free

    • is it safe? and we just download the office installer from microsoft website?

      • ive been using it/a version of it for like 10 years plus.
        gets the normal updates etc

    • So Microsoft owns github and hosts open source cracking software that is used against it's own products? That's wild.

        freedom of information.

      • Who cares about it, they still made nearly 200 billion dollars in profit in 2025.

Don’t know why anyone would pay given it’s hosted by them

Better than Billy G watching you fapping, taking snapshots every 2 mins with his Co-pilot.

        • im talking about getting access to my online banking etc but i guess i have all password on bitwarden it should be okay.

          • @McMaferMur: Don't get it from random site ofc. The installation will only ask for serial key, no online activation. Glad I still got my ISO. ;)

        • CoPilot? Have you not heard of Recall yet?

          • @EightImmortals: Another one eh? Too many things to worry abt.

@Yummy: Yeah Windows 11 is horrible and seems to be single-handedly pushing people towards Linux. :) And yes, you can turn a lot of stuff off but most people don't even know it's there to begin with. Braxman (and others) has done a few vids on it recently if you're interested.

Either online/free version, or perpetural licence with Home/Student Edition, about $230? but it's pay once, no ongoing annual subscription @ approx. $100 per year.

I don't know the exact prices, so please confirm for yourself.
