I make my own by mixing regular hand wash with water.
I did it for years to save, but this is much better and satisfying.
I used to do this too but we recently did a lab experiment at uni and it showed it also dilutes the preservatives and therefore grows various microbes after even just a week. So unless you dilute every few days, the handwash that you use isn’t going to be very effective. I’m all in for saving and being frugal but after this, I’ve ended up not doing this anymore.

Sorry when I say recently, I actually mean several years ago (getting older now lol); so I can’t remember the exact details but too dilute - too watery; too thick - can’t foam. However the thicker it was, the longer the handwash lasted microbe free. The “ideal balance” of having foam but staying relatively microbe free was 4.5 days. I can’t remember the temperature we left it and other factors like humidity. It obviously doesn’t translate to our climate in various states and seasons but still, it was a much shorter period than any of us hypothesised. I used to make 1 month at a time prior to this lol. I don’t have the energy to be making up diluents every 0.5-1 week to save a few dollars

Foaming soap like this is great for finishing silicone sealant - it makes a nice slick surface for your finger to glide along and gives a very smooth finish.

Get regular soap and add 60% water. Cheaper and takes less space.
I’ve been buying these refills on Prime for a while now and they are much better value than the small 250ml pump bottles or refill bottles at the supermarkets.
