Had 3 computers ready to join the queue when GA tickets went on sale, refreshing constantly.
When we got in the queue - we were roughly #11,000
The queue started going quicker and quicker (as people jumped out). When we got through of course all the tickets were gone.
Had to go with a package including Crown stay and Motorsport dinner for……gulp……$4500 each. 3 in my immediate family going so $13500. (no flights included)
My brother's family is going and my dad is flyhing in from the Netherlands with my F1 crazy uncle.
Family going is the only reason I agreed because those prices are just INSANE. I went to the 2023 Singapore gran prix with my wife, flights and accomodation for $7000.
Even though we have a so called cost of living crisis, it seems there's still plenty of cash around eh? Last year sold out too I hear.
