    Incase it was unclear from the description.

    This (QB826) is the China Model with CCC marking but only 65W Input.

    The previous deals (QB826G) is the Global Model without CCC marking but 100W Input.

    So there's some trade-offs.

      Yes it's big.

      The main reason would be that the power bank uses Lithium 21700 cells instead of Lithium Polymer.

        Lithium Polymer pouches are space efficient but they are also spicy pillows. The 21700 is the way to go.

    65W input is a bummer, but my G version gets really hot during charging so got this one 65w as a standby.

    Having said that, I bought G in 2019 and it's still going strong

      What do you expect? It is a battery charging something… the battery bank does not have active cooling.

            @heef: The Samsung battery was marketed with this product as one of its amazing features, and it also featured in reviews.

            The fact that this product now ships with an inferior and cheap Chinese made battery, suggests that the price point should now be much lower, and $99 is a total rip-off.

            Also, I was not making a complaint - it was a factual statement, designed to inform prospective buyers that this product is now vastly inferior to what it formerly was.

              @ozb-plshelpmywallet: They've got it in the description with the cell type. That is more info than 99% of sellers would provide. In fact, they've provided a very detailed breakdown between the CCC and global version of this power bank.

              I fail to see what they could have done better to vouch for their stock.

          I don’t really need the CCC marking yet so I might wait for a deal on the 100W input G version but knowing it no longer powered by a Samsung cell, I don’t need to stick with ZMI and can consider others.

          Looks like you "forgot" to mention the chance in your ad description. Highly deceptive and bad for business.

          You mean the part that clearly says

          Battery Type EVE INR21700/50E Cells

          Perhaps it's also to allow the CCC mark which is important for the Chinese market

        EVE INR have excellent high discharge performance no weaker than most if not all Samsung cells. They are very popular in the e-bike community. Yes these are Chinese Brand so are BYDs equipped with their blade cells. These EVE are the best suited for draining at 200W quickly. Please do some research.

    now i runaway from mm like a vampire from the cross

    Got this delivered today from Amazon. It came with only 9% charge. I charged it and it starts fast with 58w but went down to 18w when it reaches 70%+. Also it gets warm and I think it is expected.
