i did ! and i wasn't doing anything dodgy either, for some reason i can't remember why i had a spare SIM so i figured i'll make a separate google/youtube etc with it (temp try before buy kinda thing but i didn't wanna mess with my original account) , one day i just got kicked out out of youtube premium, so it said it was send me a code to my gmail/google account, so they said they gonna SMS me a code but i couldn't log in because i was using a spare SIM at the time and i disconnected it so i couldn't log into my google or youtube account to cancel the subscription and every month they billed me for youtube premium and i had to reverse the charges every few months for nearly 2 years, cancelling the debit card for a new one didn't help either so yeah i'm bit iffy giving google/youtube anymore cards details,
spotify on the other hand doing dodgy for nearly 3 years no probs…. knock on wood, don't wanna jinx it hahahah
I had my Google Play Credit / balance disabled, couldn't spend my own money I put in there (from discounted gift cards).
Spent months & months on back and forth emails, kept getting the same bs replies, asked for my case to be escalated, many, many times… Only for some supervisor to give me the same spiel.

Yeah I think it's only a matter of time before they decide it's worth it to do something about. A lot of less sophisticated services zap people for this kind of thing. Hard to imagine google is oblivious. It's probably just an "is it worth it" calculation
@jbird84: they do something though, they cancel ur subscription and fix ur region, not ban you outright
They either get you on a full price subscription by calling you out, or get absolutely nothing from you by banning you. Which do you think they prefer?
Just sign up through a burner account under a family sub. If you get disabled it's just the burner, who cares.

Some are reporting it doesn’t work with an Australian phone number now. You could use 5sim.net then change the number after if it lets you, otherwise it’s possibly dead without an existing account. (The 5sim number would work but would be a security risk if unchangable)

Wouldn’t recommend moving main account, banking apps and stuff aren’t available on Turkish accounts and won’t be updated then.

Signin with Turkish account as main, then App Store as Australian account.
App Store and iCloud account are seperate on iPhone as of a recent update - they can be seperate regions. I switch between them without signing out of my iCloud account fully, so can still access Australian apps
@Dyl: You can change account in AppStore. Tap your name icon at to right corner, scroll all the way down and logout. Login with other country account.

I recall trying this a year ago but all my google apps on the iPad I used, didn't allow the purchase of the 2tb plan. The max was always some amount well below 2tb, like 100gb. Might have to have another go. Keen to hear if anyone has similar issues to this

No your iCloud services (iMessage, iCloud, Photos etc) cannot be directly backed up to Google Cloud as a single, native process.
You can sync your photos to Google Drive and save/sync your files to Google using the Files app. But it's not integrated natively.

Make burner accounts, it's the best option.
Burner accounts make sense for cheap Youtube, etc… but for a Google One account, not so much. Most people need the storage for photos and Gmail, which really aren't the sort of things you want to see burn.

Just using my Turkish iOS for 200gb Google one family. Office family and YouTube. It's working and taken out monthly on office and YouTube (year plan on Google one) Haven't even added family to office but cost 23.99TRY. Think YouTube is just over 100try. If it works don't touch it.

Google have disabled accounts for less. I wouldn't recommend trying to exploit regional pricing against the absolute kings of harvesting your personal data.
