Where to buy Herman Miller Aeron Chair

Hi,

Looking to buy an Aeron chair, and was wondering if someone can recommend a good place to buy the chair. Been looking around at Gumtree for second hand too.

    I am told that there are Aliexpress knockoff versions floating around. I suspect the Gumtree users with bulk amounts to sell, typically listed for around $1,700 (or there abouts) are importing them in bulk. I think Living Edge is the official retailer for these chairs. Have a quick look at Aliexpress and you can pick them up for around $1,300.

    Warranties are non transferable but if the seller presents/ offers a Living Edge receipt i guess that is promising.

    Also watch out for the Classic vs. Remastered. Remastered is the newer version.

      Link? All the ones on Aliexpress have like $500 + shipping which makes them dearer than local grey market sellers ($1799 in aus, without warranty)

        Not sure, i don't have one but if you are looking to buy brand new then you probably would need to go for remastered. If you are buying second hand then the classic will nearly certainly be over ten years old.

    Did you end up buying one? We were looking for one and ended up buying a steelcase instead.

    There is a second had dealer that has both brands quite cheap if you want that. My wife wanted leather and other things so we got it new.

      Which dealer sells second hand? Also Steelseries, any good?

        My wife has back problems and was taking Panadol as of it was going out of fashion.

        She says that the chair is very comfortable and that she feels very supported because the backrest "follows" her back everytime she moves.

        She hasn't mentioned anything but I saw that the Panadol box has lasted more than 6 weeks (got the chair 4 weeks ago).

        The two second hand dealers were Kelly's office furniture and CBD office furniture.

        Stock levels seem to vary. So better call and check. For example they seem to be out of Steelcase leap at the moment.
