Coffee Latte is really good. Sometimes I add some sweetener and whipped cream because I'm fancy.

Coffe latte coconut water lol.. next they gonna add Butter Chicken flavoured coconut water

      • +7

At least coffee/latte is a drink, is it really that far fetched?

Coconut water is quite versatile in my opinion, I dilute it with water, orange juice, etc.

        • +2

I really enjoy this - 4-5 fresh lychees crushed and pour some chilled coconut water into it. It is quite versatile but I don't think I'd enjoy coffee with it! Not my cup of tea.

      • People have combine coffee, milk and coconut for years. Crawl out of the cage, mate.

  • +1

nice, just in time to beat the price increase that amazon imposed on previous SS

  • +2

"Unfortunately chocolate is excluded." Nobody in my coles/woolworths want them. 2165/2166

    • +1

Got one smaller bottle once to try since they are usually not on sale, and oh God, it tastes awful.

      • tried them at Costco, not that bad actually

      • +2

Strongly disagree on that front. Love the chocolate, and it's excluded because they dont need to promote it or stock shortage. Whenever it has been included on sale people snap it up very fast. Can be very difficult to find any across our local supermarkets (basically the same as good gift card deals, it's a feeding frenzy day 1).

          Come to 2165/2166.

    • Where is your place? I'll come and buy them all. Always solf out at my place when it's half price.

  • +5

Warning! They have changed the packaging on these now and i had to return the last one I got as it had a disgusting aftertaste. A lot of others commenting about this online too.

H2Coco remains the best of the lot. Never had any issues with the brand.

    • When did they do this? The last batch I had was fine, but bought a couple of months ago

      • +1

not that long ago, the cap is different so its possible some stores still has residual stock…probably all cleared out and now with the "new" version

        • +1

Damn, Cocobella has been my favourite of the options

          • +5

@illusiveguy: I honestly still drink it and personally find it similar/same as the 'old' one

        • Whats the new version look like?

          • +1

@Xizor: it has a 'winged' lid now opposed to the previous pure round lid

            • +1

@warclone: Thanks, was it just the plain flavour that taste different? Might have to revert to Aldi brand.

            • @warclone: I just got a box of that one. As someone who was drinking Raw C coconut water this Cocobella tastes absolutely fantastic!

Edit - for clarity mine has the winged lid and just plain flavour.

    • +4

I have a box of the older ones and the newer ones and I honestly don't know what disgusting aftertaste you're talking about. If anything, it tastes slightly better to me, but even then, it's a barely perceptible difference.

Also, the larger winged lid makes it way easier to get the last bit of the drink out the container. The old container always had an issue where the last 20ml or so of it got trapped inside.

    • Id agree with you a month ago, but recently the original-flavoured H2coco has gone down hill for me too. I noticed that the drop in taste quality coincided with a change in labelling from "Made with young green coconuts" to just "Made with green coconuts" (or words to that effect). This is all that's sold at my woolies now, so not sure if it's a local thing or happening more broadly.

On the other hand, the lychee flavoured H2coco is still good for me

    • +1

Yes, we've noticed this too. New caps, different taste. The new ones are not as nice taste-wise as the old ones. That said, still our general preference for this vs Woolies, RawC, H2, etc. Woolies is currently the worst, as it now just tastes like watered-down coconut water.

  • Hopefully amazon price matches

  • +2

Was reading that the Aldi coconut water tastes the best?

    • Ive found Aldi and cocobella tastes the same

      • Not quite the same, but the Also one is pretty great and it's always cheap

    • The Aldi chocolate one tastes better imo

      • Does Aldi have a coffee one?

        • Don’t think so

  • Still waiting of Amazon to price match for additional discount

  • +3

Shout out to the commenter on another deal for this stuff who said the chocolate flavour was good.

Whenever I see it on special in the stores I treat myself to a carton.

I wouldn't never have thought chocolate and coconut water could taste like chocolate milk.

    • Agree - I tried one as I was curious to see just how terrible it would taste as it sounded like a terrible combo (the Aldi Chocolate one), but was surprised that it tastes quite good.

I guess I was thinking Coconut water with chocolate flavour added, but there is Coconut cream also added to the mix.

  • amazon matching soon? just in time I'm on my last carton.

  • Amazon has price matched!

  • I have been drinking Tipco and cannot go back to any of the local brands. You cab order from Amazon Business for $3.
