  • Does it suck?

  • -2

Is this better than the xiomi dreame thing I got years back… Its pretty crap

    • +11

What was wrong with the dreame? Most dreame have multi cyclonic filter which should be better than this.

      • +6

Agreed, have a Dreame and it's amazing

    • Yes, same experience here, thrown away

      • +7

User error, for sure. Mine has been going strong for many years

  • Tempting,

I skipped the previous deal on the p2

  • +5

why do dyson vacuums cost so much? this one looks similar but is a fraction of the price

    • Dyson sucks better?

    • +10

      Marketing.
And a saturation of product SKU's that make you think that a battery powered tube sucking up things from the ground is something that undergoes scientific breakthroughs every 6 minutes.

      • +1

Speaking from experience too, the batteries on Dysons suck. Cheap Chinese import replacement batteries on Amazon are actually better than what Dyson installs.

        • +2

hard to know cause people are using the vacuums on max and boost modes which you aren't meant to be used 100% of the time. The max and boost modes really degrades the batteries quickly and cause a lot of heat. Then blame Dyson

          • +1

@faricity: Maybe so. I'm just the guy who has to replace them when my clean-freak spouse burns them out.

            • +1

@Morven: I got an adapter to use my DeWalt drill batteries, lasts much longer than the originals and easy to swap out if its a longer cleaning session

            • +1

@Morven: Time for a change, time for a corded one.

A corded vacuum cleaner that is … ;-)

  • +2

What if the battery goes to shit. how do you replace it

    • Looks like it pops out from the "Whats in the box" photo. Finding a replacement will be the hurdle though!

    • +10

At that price you dont. Most of the device price is probably the battery.

Depending on the voltage you could probably get some 18v tool battery adapter & splice it in, see what happens.

If your concern is battery servicing, get a vaccum that takes whatever powertool ecosystem you are in. Or get a Dyson & a battery adapter (dyson is popular enough you can get adapters for them).

      • +1

Actually batteries are pretty cheap if gone through proper channel. Look how cheap batteries are at 18650batterystore.com. In Au we pay the Au tax. Especially when you select USD and see the 1000+ price they are just 2 to 2.5 USD each. Chinese with access to lower grade b batteries will be much cheaper. Probably just 1 USD each. Motor and electronic speed controllers cost a bit too as these are pretty high RPM high powered motors.

Check this molicel. Just 2.45 USD - https://www.18650batterystore.com/products/molicel-p28a
Same thing in AU is 11 AUD - https://www.tinkertechau.com.au/products/molicel-p28a-18650-…

And these are example of the top performing batteries. P28A is like probably on the top 5 performing batteries.

You just buy the next Chinesium vacuum from Ozbargain. Still going to need 10 of them to fail before you were better off with a Dyson.

I had a Dyson, the battery needs replacement every 2 years and cost 80 to 100 aud…. After changing 2 times the battery. The lubluelu sucks better than my 6 years old Dyson.

      Technology advancement….

      • Highly doubt it.

      • +1

I've had the V6 one before and upgraded to the Viomi stick and it was fantastic at a fraction of the cost. The battery on my Viomi hasn't been replaced since I bought it in 2020 during the pandemic and still going reasonably strong. I'm grabbing this one to replace it with instead of buying a new battery for half the cost of what I'd pay for this.

    • Mine arrived today. The battery is removable. It seems like replacements are available on eBay for $44.99, with a $7.65 discount for eBay plus, so if anything, the battery situation is better than my old Dyson.

  • +5

I'm sure it's been touched on before but their product naming is bonkers. I've got a P2 from an earlier deal, listing here: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/357561397298. Says it's 45kPa, but their own website says 30kPa for the same model number. Now the P3 is apparently 35kPa?

Considering getting this for my folks, or taking it for myself and giving them the P2, whichever sucks more…or sucks less? The P2 has admittedly been great. After trying a Dyson Gen5Detect I was very keen on pickup one up because I was shocked to see how much dirt it was picking up over my shitty cheap Vax stick vacuum…the Lubluelu is actually picking up similar amounts of dirt to the Dyson shockingly

    • +1

oh damn it, bought it based on your micro review

      • haha hopefully you have the same result. I'm only in a small two bedroom apartment and the carpets have been replaced recently with those click in floorboards in most rooms so I couldn't justify the Dyson any more. If this one is similar to the P3 it'll work quite well, not Dyson level well but seeing what the Lubluelu picks up vs the old VAX definitely made it worth it at that price point.

  • +1

How is this different to the P2 from the other day?

    • +2

      Model = P3

    • -1

I believe the model from the other day was the P2 model. This deal here is for the P3 model, which is a different model to the P2.

  • This or 3 in 1 mop with vaccum ??

    • -1

Get both, so you can gift one to your "friend"

    • From what little looking into it I did it wasn’t worth the reduction in vacuum power for a mop/vacuum combo. Something like 12kpa vs 45kpa. Although it all depends on your needs.

    • Gemini:

Max Runtime ~33–50 Minutes vs Up to 50 Minutes
Dust Detection Standard LED Lights vs Green LED Dust Tracking
Storage Integrated Accessory Storage Wall vs Mount / Self-Standing
Weight ~2.4 kg vs ~2.5 kg

So in conclusions…..not much. A green light and self standing

  • So is the P3 meant to be better than the P2 or nah? There's conflicting info, the P2 in the previous OzB post mentions 45Kpa, this is 35Kpa

  • +1

The wall mount being just a bracket and not a charging dock is a bit of a bugger. I'm lazy enough that having to plug it in seperate is a deal breaker

  • 35kpa? Got a one with 45kpa which works well so wouldn’t get anything lower.

  • +1

    "The poor man pays twice"

    • +1

But at this price I could pay 5 times before I even approach Dyson pricing… so to pay "twice" I'd have to buy 10 of these in the average lifetime of a Dyson.

  • +4

I purchased the P4 from AliExpress. It absolutely outperformed any expectations that I had of it being shit. I use it on a daily now to clean up areas of dirt and debris. The battery lasts about an hour or so and is simple to charge back up. The multiple extensions are great and the full extension has a roller that gets powered while going over carpet and a green light to see the floor. Emptying the dust bin is simple as is changing out any of the extension modules. I would not hesitate to purchase one again as I'm thouroughly impressed. If you're on the fence, the P4 is currently around $70 aud on Ali. A quick summary below between the P2 / P3 and P4 below as their naming convention is confusing.

    Feature Lubluelu P2 Lubluelu P3 Lubluelu P4
Max Suction 30,000 Pa 25,000–35,000 Pa 40,000–45,000 Pa
Max Runtime 35 mins 50 mins 50 mins
    Rated Power 250W 235W 450W
    Dust Cup 500ml 230ml 450ml
    Weight 2.4kg 2.2kg 2.2kg

    • Hi, Have you got a link please?

      Cheers,
      Jake

        • Cant buy that one for some reason.

        • +1

The title of the item says its 36Kpa. You have mentioned its 40-45Kpa. The title again says 40 minutes run time - you say it lasts for an hour. I would have thought product titles would be exaggerating. Something doesn't add up.

          • @tik tok: Fair enough, I wouldn't say I've actually clicked a stop watch or kept exact time tracking to the exact minute but it's good enough and charges fairly quickly. The Kilo Pascals (kPa) is a measurement of suction pressure, usually taken at the highest suction setting with the lowest runtime. Higher kPa does not represent higher performance. They usually throw around that value as an advertising term which is always within a range. Mileage obviously varies.

    • Is the physical build quality good? Does it feel like it could break easily if you accidentally slam it against the wall too hard?

Can you confirm if the P4 is rated at 36K suction or it much higher. I see theres lots of higher powered Dyson clones that advertise 550w power and over 50K suction at over $100 or if the Lebluelu P4 is sufficient?

      • +1

Yes, nothing is flimsy about it, you would have to full send it into a wall to break something or be heavy handed.

Cannot confirm as I don't have any comparison, it does however have two speeds with a touch of a button on the battery. One is a lot higher and louder than the other.

      • +1

Chinese stuff is generally pretty solid now. The number of Chinese consumers who are living middle and upper class lifestyles is enormous today. That's why we've got all their car brands coming into our market, etc. We're a tiny market in comparison, so what we're seeing here is just the fringes of a massive industry catering to the world.

  • How would this compare to a dyson v7

    • +1

i purchased a similar one from amazon for $50 for black friday. 2 year warrenty and great customer service/reviews.
i had a V7 that has worked for 5 years although its wearing out significantly.

cant really tell whether one is significantly better. Dyson definitely had less features but more 'refined'.
the cheap amazon one was still well built and great for day to day use.

i vacumed carpet and floors then went over it again with the dyson.
the dyson didnt really suck up anything after it which suggested the cheaper amazon vacuum did the job so i was happy.

honestly under $60 cant complain. even if you get 2 years out of it worst case.

    • -1

You are going to clean the filters on this much more often on this vacuum vs dyson because no multi cyclonic filters.

  • +1

Bought 2, delivered yesterday, sucking but cant remove attachment, already stuck, low quality…

    • +1

There's buttons you press to release the attachment, on the model pictured in this post it's yellow. You press then slide it.

  • So this company makes vacuums, ugly dolls on key rings as well as yoga clothes and mats?

    • +1

Yes this is the famous company known for merging together Lululemon and Labubu

  • +1

This vacuum has more tech than the ugly dolls and is cheaper too.

  • What is the absolute best value Stick vacuum from one of these cheap Chinese brands? I've seen reviews in the past demonstrating that some of these guys are better than Dyson even. But there are so many models, it's overwhelming. Anything crazy good for like $200-$250?

    • I reckon picking up something like this is the go in all honesty. If you grab from an eBay or Amazon deal the potential to return it if it doesn't meet your expectations makes it a little easier to swallow

  • Any body received theirs yet? My package seems to be going back and forth with PFL

  • This thing is horrible, Did everyone else get an unbranded box? This seems like a generic Kmart $20 thing.

  • unbranded box with no sign of Lubluelu at all. Is it a scam? The link has changed now.
