I got onto this a little late but there is a couple of days left. A slight rigmarole to redeem, and recommend using desktop rather than mobile, but yep $5 cinema tix.

After redeeming from Toyota, you are sent vouchers for the cinema selected. Then you go to the cinema and redeem the vouchers at the checkout to bring the price to $5.

Limited to those registered with the Toyota app, using their benefits brand "Toyota Go" - also it may be limited to 4 tix per user (not sure).

EDIT: (Thanks to research team below)
1. Limited to 4 vouchers
2. Claiming tickets at Toyota ends Monday but the vouchers delivered for use at cinema checkout have long expiry.

      I was able to find the Hoyts sessions by going into the Cinema section and picking a Hoyts location.

      You have to click through to checkout for it to change to $5. I booked for Melbourne Hoyts and received 4 Hoyts vouchers expiring 2029!

    Just tested, book a Hoyts Saturday night session and you get an unrestricted voucher

    Expires in 3 years

    Seems like once you get the vouchers they are just unrestricted vouchers than can be used at any standard or xtemescreen (with an additional fee)

      Last time I bought for a weekday slot, and they were not unrestricted. Buying for a weekend slot is the way to go

        You are very correct just went in again to buy another pair of tickets not realising it was for a weekday and received a set of tickets not valid for sessions on Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm onwards, or sessions on public holidays.

      You just need to go through to checkout, it won't show as $5 when you actually select them.

      I have no idea who Toyota has offshored their web / app dev to, but theirs is the most embarassing user experience I've ever seen. You have to actively fight against the UX to achieve what you want.

    As @mtr says above, add 4 tickets to your cart and go to checkout and it'll show $20.

    Got 4 for Village Cinemas. Says Adult Restricted and two expire 30 Sep 26 and two expire 31 August 26.

        Select any session you want. They send you a generic voucher to use when you want.

      I did too, 6pm session Sat/Sun ends up with restricted. It 9PM gave me unrestricted. I think there's a threshold, definitely past 6pm. Maybe 7pm will work, if anyone else have done 7 or 8pm can you confirm.

          So we're not in the same boat, I dont think I've heard outcome like yours?

        I have tested 7PM Saturday generates unrestricted generic HOYTS, while 6pm still generated restricted.
        I assume unrestricted only applies to anything AFTER 6pm. Maybe 6:30pm will work too.

        Maybe it's by cinema? I did one lot of morning sat session at my nearest Hoyts and it gave me unrestricted, but the one further away gave me restricted.

      Just pick any STD movie go to checkout you should see the price updates to $5 each. For Village the expiry should be Sept 30. The voucher won't be tied to the session, Toyota will send you the voucher then ask you to book

    Expiry Date: 30 June 2026
    Not valid after 5pm Sat. Valid at all Village and Event cinemas. Not valid at Rosebud, Sorrento, Warragul, Warrnambool, Moonlight Cinemas, IMAX or Skyline Drive In.
    To use your voucher/s, you may either book online and select your seat/s through the cinema website OR present your voucher/s at the cinema's box office.

    In the end who cares if they are restricted or not. You dont have to go in the evening on a weekend or on a public holiday. Be grateful, you are getting movie tickets for $5.
