    • Opps, just updated it in the title. It does have warranty which is better than buying from sites like facebook marketplace.

      • Wouldn't count on their warranty to be worth anything, enough horror stories heard over the years of how their warranty doesn't apply for one reason or another. Doubt they even have the capacity in store to test ram before buying or selling it.
They're a cashies staffed by teenagers instead of thrice divorced failed car salesmen.

        • Fair enough. Definitely need to run a few memory tests on it after I recieve it.

        • Typically ram companies offer unlimited warranty tmk

        • They honor returns at least. Bought a few RAM sticks and SSDs from them over the years, about 30% are either non working or just plain the wrong item (different DDR version, different capacity, etc). Never had issues with returns. For the relatively cheap price vs ebay and easy returns, it’s worth the hassle sometimes.

          • @jpeg-jpg: Yeah, seems like most their staff don't really know much about computers. I got a GTX 970 from them that was actually a 1660 so it seems like these parts aren't even tested.

      • I’ve had good experiences. Every time I’ve had an issue (including with RAM), they’ve taken it back, no drama. It’s always been in a few days so more like DOA situation. I’ve never tried to claim a warranty claim weeks or months after a purchase so not sure how good or bad that process is

  • Just HODL and the price will eventually got normal, I guess

  • Bought a set of the desktop 8GB DDR3 1333MHZ sticks, but they turned out to be server RAM - this wasn't specified in the product page, so they've probably got a bin of various RAM sticks in a warehouse somewhere. Easy returns at the Parra branch though.
