Tossing up between this with an extra unifi AP or 2x Eero Pro 7's. What would be better suited?
"suited" to what?
This runs the Unifi ecosystem so you will have much more control over your network if you want to get into that.Avoid the Eero Pro 7 - horrid 2.4. Firmware flakey and expensive security bolt-on too - you can't tether your mobile as a backup service unless your fork out for the $165 a year security add-on. If you want mesh - Tplink BE65 for bang for buck.
I would choose a Cloud Gateway with an AP over this. Either an Ultra and U6+ for lower cost, or UCG Fibre with a better AP for WIFI 7 / 10G / Protect.
I do recommend Landmark Computers.
Upgraded from UDR to UDR7 recently and think its great. Would be my recommended home router to most people, good coverage, easy setup, with a lot of options if you want to go deeper.
I'm interested in the UDR7 as a single coverage option for our small house ~97m2. Out of interest, how large is your house?
This is not a great router. I also have a Netgear Orbi, and it only supports Wi-Fi 5. I purchased this router to replace the Netgear Orbi. Now, I use both of them together connected to a 1000mps NBN connectionn. The Netgear only has 1 gbps wired, this has 10Gbps. While wired is better with this router, wireless is better with 1 Gbps Netgear as it consistently gives 300-400 mpbs where as this router in the same room gives around 150-250 mpbs. consistently lower to Netgear at any given point
So why to busy this expensive product selling as wifi7. Buy a better wifi 7 product

Watched this video and they reckon almost all wifi 7 routers don't work as advertised
