15% Flash Sale Vs 10% Flash Sale

Hey OzB,

Was looking at the Antec GSK750 ATX 3.1 PSU at Centre Com and noticed some interesting math in the shopping cart.

The exact same SKU is appearing twice with two different Flash Sale banners, but the higher discount doesn't actually mean a lower price:

Flash Sale 1 (10% Off): Ends up at $117.00

Flash Sale 2 (15% Off): Ends up at $116.00

Unless my math is failing me, for a 5% difference in discount to only equal a $1 price drop, they must be adjusting the "Original Price" in the background depending on which sale banner is active.

10% off to get $117 implies a base price of $130.

15% off to get $116 implies a base price of $136.47.

Classic "inflate the RRP to show a bigger discount" move Either way, keep an eye on your cart totals at Centre Com, don't just trust the % sticker!
