yeah bro always posts expensive stuff

100%. So glad I fit out four houses during the golden age.
Just checked my purchases from the previous eighteen months - 37 units - majority from AliExpress deals posted in here by @Clear and a few of us others, but a couple each from Ebay and Amazon up until August after which Reolink went dark on AliExpress.
In the six months since, I've bought 4 units - one refurbed CX810 as a replacment and three of the new-ish CX820's which I was deperate to try. I've rolled out installs at my place and three other houses, and have redeployed some of the solar cams as a target hardening exercise for some family who had no coverage and would likely have migrated to full POE systems in due course.
But with current pricing and general non-responsiveness, I think I'm out. I shouldn't moan since I got some great cost-effective systems that were growing and growing with new and better cameras as I developed a habit for adding a couple new cameras every month. It's just disappointing that they've walked away from a model which allowed them to get significant penetration into the local market, since the install I've got in place now is likely to remain unchanged for the next five years or until I'm compelled to roll out a new bang for buck ecosystem with better AI and other mod concs…

Paid : AU $257 + $7.01 Cashback on January 5 direct from Reolink website
This deal is almost $50 more expensive per camera

Are you sure it's the TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi? This one started selling on Jan 12.

Yeah, I think they were the Duo Floodlights, my bad.
However, the Track Flex were 2 for $488 on release

From the tech specs:
Image Sensor
1/3" + 1/2.8" CMOS SensorsCome on, Reolink. This is crap! Even with the flood lights, night time capture will be horribly grainy.
In this day and age, 1/1.8" sensor should be the bare minimum.Unlike the Duo 2 floodlights, you will need a sparky to wire in this camera.

Looks like a knockoff of the Eufy E340. Slightly brighter lights (3k vs 2.5k lumens) but sensors aren't as good?

This or the E340 from EUFY? Want to mount it under an awning and get notifications in Google Home.

Totally agree, lucky i fitted the house with some Poe and an NVR. Im kicking myself I didn’t buy the white Poe doorbell with 3:4 ratio, you cant find them anywhere these days. There is one on AliExpress but for $200 ouch

Keep an eye on eBay refurbished where they occasionally come up with some good discount codes as well.
As someone who got two of each, the white doorbell is definitely better than the black in terms of the aspect ratio and native package detection. Better yet, if you get wifi, you can connect it as the undocumented 9th channel on the 8 channel NVR (which I suspect you can also do via POE if you're prepared to cable to a POE switch rather than the NVR)…

Thanks for the tip. I thought the wifi version couldn’t record 24/7, as thats what id like to do along with the other cameras

Nah, 24/7 is fine unless it’s a battery cam. The white wifi doorbell is hard powered.

I ordered the Black Poe door bell and they sent me the white one as Black was oos
Ordered on Everyday Market

For the win! Nice…

Still not really a deal.
I miss when Riolink was on AliExpress and we actually got decent pricing.
