2 Months of Kayo Sports Premium for $5 Per Month (New Customers Only) @ Kayo Sports

1210
KAYOSC26

Turns out that there will be no free-to-air coverage for the Bathurst 12 hour. That's a real shame for all casual viewers. To make up for it they're offering this deal. This should get you to 20th April for the $10 if you get activate it on the last day of the deal. Enough for the start of the F1 and the NRL/AFL. Be sure to cancel before renewal date. I've already switched to alternative streaming, but good for those that don't want to go through the set up.

Says for those new to Kayo.

    • +38

I am always new to Kayo.

      • +16

Homer? Who is Homer? My name is Guy Incognito

      • from memory it's a pain in the ass to become a 'new customer'?

      • +3

Don't you need a mobile number verification?

    • Added to the title.

  • +1

Kayo Premium pricing (currently $45.99/mth) you have to be keen as a crazy NRL fan :)
Good deal $10 for two months if you want Kayo.
Sure to be sure someone will figure out how to get discounts on Kayo premium.

    • Holy moly.. I remember when it was $30!!

      • +1

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/944701

You can still get it for under that via some NRL/AFL team digital memberships, if you’re prepared to pay for a year.

        • Best way to get Kayo.

        • Hi mate. Is this membership packages allow to watch other sports like MotoGP or Formula 1 ? Ot we can only watch NRL/AFL in that package?

  • +1

What alternative streaming do you use?

    • +7

Your dad lends me his login.

    • +7

Starts with I ends in PTV.

      • -2

How reliable have you found it?

I tested on a cheaper one I think around $10/mo and it was constant buffering even on non live content.

        • +1

Yep, agree. Kayo is one of those luxuries i pay for as i dont want to muck around with buffering. $5 a month is a decent bonus too

        • -4

          All IPTV services suck.

          • +1

@adam149: Some suck, some are quite good. If you just use run of the mill free ones then yeah they are a dogs breakfast. You have your run of the mill cheapo ones from places like g2a which can be great value depending on your needs. There is the more fringe underground ones that lurk as invite only through other customers in discords and the like, they tend to be much better managed, prompt to resolve any issues etc. Finding one that does aussie sports in 4K (for the games that are) can be a challenge though. Irrespective of whether have above or not, getting Kayo for $5 a month is certainly worth if a die hard NRL/AFL fan.

          • -3

            @adam149: kayo is iptv.

          • @adam149: Lmao clearly haven't used a decent one then

        • $10/mth? I grabbed multiple $35/yr each.
don't buy from reddit/websites they just sell crap that's $us15/yr on z2u. rarely freezes, but if so I have backup channels & services.

      • +7

There's also further information at a website starting with F ending with MHY.net

    • I use an android app Sportzx. Works well.

    • Anything ESPN is available on Disney+ if you already have it. Good for NBA and NFL. Doesn’t help with Aussie stuff though

    • take a look into i p t v

basically as good as legal streaming at this point. 4k, every channel in the world, works on your tv with a remote just like foxtel

can switch between 501 for the cricket, NFL/NBA game pass and league pass and so on and barely even watch ads as well

      • What do you recommend? I'm looking for something for the NBA playoffs. Used to have league pass but can't justify $100-150 a year on it anymore.

        • +1

can start with the big ones like b1g, trex, strong 8k, eagle4k etc. and see if you like anything. you can buy them direct from g2g . com and add it to an iptv player like tivimate or Chillio

i use a private one though

          • @pHyR3: Thanks!

            • @gcheap: Alot of them offer a 1 day trial so good to test first if you are going to outlay 1 year subscription. In my experience they are great for live sports if you find the right service no different to live TV. Best to pay for Tivimate & use Live Guide apps in combination with service to get the best out of them. Hardest thing is bookmarking all the channels given there are so many

      • +1

        Afl?

        • +1

literally anything you can think of that's televised. it's overwhelming you'll have to filter out all the channel groups youre not interested in like Irish hurling, lithuanian TV and so on

      • Does it have on demand & delayed streaming? Able to pause & resume later?

        • +1

varies depending on the provider and the specific channel. pretty easy to record it worst case though

some providers have 'catchup' so you can rewind or watch a specific event from a day or two ago

  • I have an inactive account and tried - it didn’t work and since they use your mobile number it’s not as simple to just use another email.

I wonder if requesting deletion of your hubbl account under privacy policy might help…

    https://help.hubbl.com.au/s/submitenquiry?t=privacy-removal

    • +1

I had a free trial years ago, never subscribed because the implementtion (buffering, rewind etc) and customer service was so poor. Still can't get new subscriber deals simply because I'm on their database.

Using the delete user request probably won't help. Appears either they retain your phone number permanently or this statement is a furphy/scare tactic: This means you will not be able to sign-up or resubscribe to any Hubbl subscriptions (Kayo, BINGE, Flash or LifeStyle) in future using the same phone number.

    • +5

Just find the cheapest burner sim deal and off you go. Telstra $2 Prepaid SIM worst case, can activate without recharge.

    • I used Optus free 7 day eSIM and hide my email last time. Worked a treat

  • +20

Just go a year without it. Hopefully of enough people do it they rethink their model and drop prices to a reasonable level permanently

    • -5

      nah we want sports

    • -5

      No chance.

      • +1

lol the neggers think kayo are any chance of lowing prices? Hilarious

    • +3

      no companies lower prices.

      • +1

How differently that reads with a comma:

        No, companies lower prices.

        • No companies, lower prices.

    • +1

Yeah that won't be happening but nice thought

  • Any options for long term access?
Is an NRL/AFL membership still the cheapest way?

    • +1

Yes. Premium and share it with another Ozbargainer.

    • +1

      i p t v is the cheapest way :)

      • Yep. But not so easy to find one that has all 4K televised games in 4K. The step up in quality is noticable. You get the occassional game on Sky main UHD channel.

        • +1

my provider has dozens of UHD channels (sky sports, espn US, fox, cbs, kayo events etc.

watched the super bowl in 4k no worries on monday

the cheapest providers probaby wont have that but it'll still the a fraction of the price of kayo

          • @pHyR3: The Kayo 4K is the rarity. All the rest is pretty standard as long as they use all the main suppliers.

  • +7

No need for that, just move your device virtually to a different country and stream it on YT.

(If you just want to watch the Bathurst 12hr)

  • +3

Think i might try my luck with a VPN and watch the "international" youtube streaming

  • +4

My experience with Kayo has been dreadful. Streams always cut out, lag or fail to load. ONLY happens with Kayo. The worlds crappiest streaming service.

    • +4

      9Now says hello.

    • I've always had issues with them lagging and buffering even in different homes with different connections. They'll solve it, then the issues will start again. Watching NBA was suicide inducing! Its so ridiculous that these guys and Fox block every other company that we can get sports from. Should be illegal! Many countries have muliple broadcasters. We get a monopoly on sports from these guys.

      • Never had a problem with Kayo like you mentioned. I only use via nVidia shield boxes.

  • For the English Premier League I replaced Optus Sport with r/footballhighlights on reddit. I will only really watch golf on Kayo, does anyone have an alternative options for me to follow the PGA and DP World Tour?

  • Has anyone been getting the discount offer when they attempt to cancel? There seemed to be quite a few offers under the old ownership, any offers from the new owners?
Asking for a friend whose previous deal is about to expire…

    • +1

I recently cancelled to share an NRL one with a mate and did not get a discount code for Kayo, only for Binge.

    • Last season I didn’t get any Kayo offers. Maybe the binge one. I was on a cheaper deal for most of the year tho.

  • +1

    I got offered $1 for 1 month.

    • +2

      Lousy wages.

    • I got offered that too and activated it to watch the F1 pre-season sessions. Have an annual membership I purchased via an NRL team that I intended to apply afterwards, but so far have not redeemed the code (which is good for a year).

When I cancelled the Kayo $1 membership, so that it wouldn’t renew at $46, and with the intention of then applying my annual membership voucher, I was offered 5 months for $20 off per month.

So taken that up and will delay activating my annual membership until mid year.

Was not expecting to get a retention offer when cancelling that $1 membership, but guess I got lucky.

  • +1

I just want a decent live high quality F1 stream. That's all I used Kayo for, but sure as heck not paying their crazy usual RRP monthly price.
Any good IPTV sites purely for F1 that do NOT buffer constantly?

    • Friends use Strong8k purely for F1 and are pretty happy. There's usually plenty of feeds available from 4k to SD

      • does it work on smart TV or best to view on PC only?

        • +1

If your TV runs Android/Google use an IPTV player app.
I personally use Tivimate. But there are other decent apps

  • Cheers op

  • +1

    Runs until 20 February 2026.

  • +2

To watch the Bathurst 12 hour use a VPN and watch it on youtube rather than give $$ to the grubs at kayo.

  • Link doesn't work for me, just goes to the kayo homepage and there's the usual 7 day free trial? Am I missing something?

    • If you click sign up as a new customer, then hit the remove voucher button (the $1 for first month deal is by default), it then allows you to add the code from this deal. I was confused at first as well

  • Best/cheapest way to get a fresh phone number to make the jump to a new account?

      • You still need a $15 recharge to use that SIM

    • Dunno if it’s cheapest but I have Amaysim Pay-as-you-go which has a 365 day expiry on credit. Load $15 a year on it to keep it active

      • I'm thinking $17 for Aldi SIM every month + $1 new sign up could reduce Kayo to $180 for the F1 season
Annoying burning a email + SIM every month but cheapest option atm

  • +3

Used the Optus eSim and the gmail full stop in email address hacks successfully.

Note on those cancelling immediately to avoid a forgotten subscription sting.

If you cancel immediately it will cancel your subscription after only 1 month so you will not get the second month for $5.

Suggest a reminder after 1 month to cancel

  • Be very careful of Kayo charging you after you have already cancelled. I had already cancelled my Kayo order on Hubbl but they just charged me again.

I put in a "unexpected charge" complaint but they refuse to refund me even though I didn't use it once during the last month.

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting a refund?
