This thrilling chapter in the heart-stopping “Predator” franchise is set in the future on a remote planet. A young Predator (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi), outcast from his clan, finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Elle Fanning) and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary. Directed by Dan Trachtenberg (“Prey”) and written by Patrick Aison from a story by Patrick Aison & Dan Trachtenberg, “Predator: Badlands” is produced by John Davis, Dan Trachtenberg, Marc Toberoff, Ben Rosenblatt and Brent O’Connor.

    Disney owns the Predator and Alien Franchises (I feel like I knew this already, but was reminded again today), all the movies are on Disney+.

    A fun movie 🍿 very heavy on the CGI to keep costs down and a different take with more humour.

    Wish they go Dark Knight with the next one and focus on atmosphere.

    I rate it behind Prey and the underrated Predators.

    I love predator movies. Prey was amazing but this one is just bad. Didn't even need to be set in the predator universe.

    This is an enjoyable movie but not a great predator movie. If you like marvel movies you will enjoy this

    I watched this in theatres. It was an ok movie but a bad Predator movie. They are taking Predators in a bad(worse?) direction imo. They arent there to be humanised or friended or redeemed.

      Not all predators are hunter/gatherers, you can't paint all predators with the same brush you fascist!

      I can' wait for the the Predator TV series where they tell the story of an outkast predator who is the son/daughter/they of a polyamorous family who have migrated to Earth because they were outkast by their own race for not fitting in, and who has to overcome bullying by human children for being different only to finally be accepted for who he/she/they are. Rated PG.

    They knew nobody wanted humans in the Predator movies, so what they did is humanise the Predators. Terrible. Yes the action is good in here but they destroyed the characters. Predators can't form words and speak like that. They have mandibles and no lips lol. Its idiotic to even suggest they can talk like that. They make them family orientated etc. Giving them backstories and trying to show their history is silly. They are creatures with claws and no thumbs. They can't even hold objects properly. Yet we're meant to believe they make and build everything, including weapons and spaceships…

    Should have never had the end scene from Predator 2 as it never made sense, getting worse with each movie making us think they are able to build things because they cannot! Better to treat them as a Doomsday type character, someone else designed them to hunt and kill. Using weapons and ships others made.
