Priceline Pharmacy stores are not closing

      21 January 2026

In December 2025, API (a Wesfarmers Health company), took the difficult decision to appoint receivers and administrators to 56 pharmacies within the Infinity Pharmacy Group (Infinity) following a significant deterioration of its financial position.

Infinity operates 92 pharmacies – 72 of which are Priceline Pharmacies – under individual franchise agreements with API. These stores have been owned and operated by Infinity-aligned pharmacist owners.

The appointment of receivers and administrators was taken to stabilise these pharmacy businesses, enabling their continued operation, delivery of community pharmacy services, and payment of team members and suppliers. These pharmacies continue to trade as usual and are not at risk of closing because it is the Infinity Pharmacy Group as a company that is affected by the receivers and administrators’ appointment.

Some media have reported that these Priceline Pharmacies are at risk of closure – nothing could be further from the truth.

Following escalating financial difficulties experienced by Infinity, the appointment of receivers and administrators remained the only responsible path to ensure these stores continue to operate and service their local communities.

Following stabilisation of these businesses, the administrators are now seeking expressions of interest from new pharmacist owners for these stores which will put them on a sustainable platform for the future.

    Cashback not available on
    - Store promotions, discounts or special deals unless otherwise stated

So if there is any special on a product cashback wont count i assume? Need to find if any full price items are worth it

    • I missed that part. I only ever buy items from priceline when they are on a promotional price. Think ill pass on this then.

      • +2

The wording is confusing. Cashback usually stacks with the current sales when the items are automatically discounted. I've bought from Priceline Pharmacy via ShopBack for sale items and received cashback.

Will check with the rep @gotyourback
Most of Priceline is discounted. Can you please confirm that cashback stacks with the current sales? Thanks.

        • Good pick up, the wording can definitely sound a bit confusing at first glance.

Standard sale prices that are already marked down on Priceline’s site usually still stack with Cashback. So if you’re just buying items that are automatically discounted and clicking through ShopBack as normal, you should be sweet in most cases.

That exclusion line is more about special promos, bundles or additional or extra codes that aren’t listed on our deal page.

          Appreciate you all flagging it!

          • @gotyourback: Thanks GYB for the quick response.

            • @trixieb: No worries at all 😄 always happy to help. Shout out if anything else pops up! 👍

  • Is this available on prescriptions?

    • It seems to require the Priceline Pharmacy app for prescriptions. I haven't downloaded and not sure about tracking. Prescription items don't show up on the website and directs to the app. Will ask @gotyourback

      • +2

Prescriptions are a bit of a tricky one. I don’t see anything in the current terms that specifically excludes them, but if the checkout redirects you into the app or a separate prescription system, tracking can sometimes behave differently compared to a standard online purchase.

For S2 meds, there’s nothing listed in the exclusions that calls them out, so based on the terms they’re not specifically excluded. If the order goes through the normal website checkout after clicking from ShopBack, it should be eligible to track like other items.

If anyone gives it a go, just make sure you click through ShopBack first and avoid any unlisted codes. Let us know how it goes too 👀

        @Tleyx @trixieb @gamerkonks

        • Thanks GYB.

@Tleyx let us know if you test the prescriptions.

  • @gotyourback, Any exclusions on Schedule 2 (S2) - Pharmacy Medicine.
I don't see any mention off it, so I assume is included?

  • Seems to only say 2% bonus cashback for Westpac, St G, BoM, BSA now? Haven't made a purchase yet, is the deal over?

    • +1

15% offer is still on. SB has a display issue. You have to scroll down to see 15% or go to the bank section to see 15% in the app. Take screenshots.

I've made one purchase and will be buying some more. 15% has tracked a few minutes ago. My next purchase will only be at 10% for SB Plus & 2% bank bonus as you only get 15% once.

Any issues, I'm confident GYB or the team will fix.

      • Can you get 15% once for Westpac and once for Other banks, as they're listed separately?

        • +1

Yes you can. One for each bank if you have those cards.
