Hi OzBargain,

Lots of requests for BYO GPU rigs, especially now that GPU prices will increase shortly. It's a good time to lock in a system on the AM5 platform now that is future-proofed and can allow for lots of changes. Today's deal has just that. This is truly the bottom price we can do for BYO builds with the current market situation.

✅PCIe5 support on both M.2 and GPU PCIe slots for both motherboards to allow for future upgrades
✅Large ATX case with 3x reverse intake fans and 1x exhaust for fantastic airflow and for endless options and compatibility for other components like ATX motherboards and GPU fitment
✅Likely B-tier PSUs from a tier one vendor that are both rated 80+ Gold with headroom for future upgrades
✅240mm AIO instead of an air cooler for lower CPU temperatures on the 7800X3D system
✅Fantastic VRMs for future proofing on the 7800X3D system for any AM5 CPU at this price point
✅32GBs of RAM for further future proofing for multitasking and AAA titles
❌Single channel 32GB DDR5 RAM instead of dual channel, where there will be a minor performance drop

🎁 Bonus FREE Nebula Lunar New Year red pockets as well with every order!

      Fixed sorry! 🤭

  • +1

I'd love a 9800x3d / 64gb ram version if you see it happening sometime (I see I can build one for $2,627 w/sales code).

    • +1

Might be possible with the current deal for slightly less if you are okay with all the other specifications, let me work it out and update the builder.

    • +9

I've added Team T-Force Delta RGB 64GB (2x32GB) 6000MHz DDR5 - Black as an upgrade option in the RAM section - https://gyazo.com/5d5fbed5877edfdc11d657d49f5626ff. For this configuration with the 9800X3D, it will be $2248 after discount, which is quite a solid OzBargain deal 😁.

      • +3

$1,857.00 with 9800x3d and 1000w modular PSU upgrade. Maybe it's time to retire the 11700k and get a worthy system for my 5080..

      • +1

If we've already ordered, how do we get it added to the order? And will it delay delivery further adding it on ?

  • +5

1x32gb ram is certainly a choice

    • +2

      Yes ☹️.

    • +1

I’m running a 1x16gb ddr5 due to a faulty stick and it’s really not as big of a deal as you would think, I’m consistently hitting the same fps as benchmarks in every game so far and that’s with a 7500f 9070. Unless you’re on a 9800x3d 5090 the bottleneck won’t be ram.

      • +3

Unlike DDR4 (1x64-bit bus), each DDR5 stick has a 2x32-bit bus structure. This means that it runs in a quasi dual channel mode even with just one stick. The performance penalty for single stick is much lower than previous DDR generations.

        • +1

This is good news! I do have a pair of DDR5 ram I ordered from ebay and one was faulty. It came with 2 year warranty so tried to return it a year later and they said I never bought from them even though it's on record. Anyway, I can now build a mini with just one ram! I have all the other parts.

  • Any chance of seeing a cheap BOYG PC for Office/Work? Looking at a Mini PC but would prefer a full setup.

  • +6

Probably one of the outliners here but can we get a BYO ram deal 😅

  • damn those ram prices sigh, when are the china ram coming?

    • +3

Current indications are that they intend to get on the gravy train while they can instead of taking over the consumer market.

    • I think the bubble bursts before we see Chinese RAM in any great volume

      • -2

The bubble bursting doesn't magically delete AI from existing and being worked on you know that right?

        • +1

What do you think happens when the investment capital dries up (because nobody but Nvidia is making, or likely ever will make, a profit from it) and all those enormous HBM orders that are causing this entire market distortion go unpaid?

    • +1

china isn't coming to save us, they have jumped on the ai train also

    • I've started using the Intel boards with DDR4 on them instead of DDR5 for new builds. DDR5 pricing is bonkers. It's a shame Ryzen is only DDR5.

      • Ryzen CPUs used DDR4 up to and including the 5000 series. Those DDR4 Intel boards are now previous generation parts too.

  • Any chance for the code to work for the 7800X3D system if the case is changed?

    • It'll work, just need to wait 30 seconds or so for the system to recognise your custom build. Any configuration you choose will work :).

  • These are very decent prices for the builds considering the market situation if someone already have a decent card.

I am checking these builds every time there is one on sale but most of the time they are gaming oriented. I need something for my proxmox to host some lxc and docker containers is there a chance for finding a build for that ( spend most of the budget on cpu and ram and ports) or only option is to go diy route?

    • Yes, likely DIY as OzBargain demand mostly seems to be gaming rather than workstations/hosting systems. We've done a few workstations in the past.

  • As a newbie that picked up the 9070 deal the other day, this is tempting but I've also bought a 2tb SSD.. Would this deal still be better off with the 7800x3d than building my own through deals?

Ideally would upgrade to the 2x16gb bringing the total to $1690

    • +1

This is a great deal considering current pricing, and much more viable than building your own. I'd be jumping on it if I were you. And you can always do with extra storage - slap that 2tb you've got into it as well!

      • Thanks mate!! As a newbie it makes it a lot easier seeing a bundle like this!!!

  • Whats the better case ouf of these options? Airflow much more important than RGB nonsense. Infact can we disable the RGB?

    • The default case has quite good airflow; it's large and has 3x reverse intake and 1x rear exhaust fan. Yes, you can turn off all RGB with the motherboard software. All fans are ARGB compatible and tested before despatch.

  • If I don't have a graphics card, would this be a good option to buy and look out for a deal on a graphics card over the next couple of months or so, or would another model with included graphics card be priced such that the graphics card component is effectively marked down to a good price? Does that make sense?

    • +2

GPU's are set to rise in the coming months so if you do get this, I'd be looking to get a GPU asap. Keep an eye on pgrid for that https://www.pgrid.app/au

    • It will depend on your budget, if you are looking to buy a gaming system, now would be a good tim,e before prices will likely continue rising, unfortunately. Please do not quote and look at reputable sources online, and base your decision on an educated one.

  • Could you provide the dimensions of the NEBULA N7 PRO ATX case?

How many drives does it (and the mobo) support?

  • How long does this deal go for?

    • Until we sell out for these deals.

  • Midnight - Ryzen 7 7800X3D BYO GPU is killer. I wish I was in a position to buy this.

Here's hoping this sale is a roaring success and there's another BYO GPU deal in 6mo.

  • will 1060 3gb fits into this ?

    • Yes.

  • +1

Is it worth chucking a 3070 into this? Cheers.

    • +1

Yes, it's the newest AMD platform that they have pledged to support for many years to come. If you'd like to be on newer architecture and have pathways for future proofing it'd be a good idea.

  • Any game voucher/promotion offered with this build?

    • The $500 off OzBargain promotion, yes. No game promotion unless the CPU is eligible for Crimson Dessert, I believe that would be 9800X3D and above.

  • Hi there, just want to ask a few question:
1 When will this sale end? I planning to buy a number of PC from u guys but not sure how long will it takes.
2 If i want to bulk buy PC with the same spec, is it possible to provide further discount?
3 Do u guys accept Cash when pickup? I can pay it online and pay cash when Pickup.

    Thanks

    • " I can pay it online and pay cash when Pickup." Makes sense.

    • Hi,

      1. Until we sell out for these deals.
      2. Yes, please email us and we can discuss further.
      3. No, unfortunately not. We will need full payment beforehand, either in cash or online methods, to secure your stock and order. Margins run extremely thin in this industry and for these deals.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

      Lawrence

  • cl38 single channel ram :c

    • 🥹

  • @Nebula PC any discount on the workstations? Looking to order one asap.

    • Lots of systems we have on OzBargain can be used as workstations. No specific workstation discounts at this stage, demand is low on OzBargain for this unfortunately.

  • Any chance on more case options?
