bruh why can't they do variable load on ultimate him, but they can on ultimate her…

    • Coz women think with their feelings …

    • -1

Because these are the sexist mob that says Hers don’t want to shop at JB, TGG, EB etc

  • +2

is this the one that hasn't been hacked yet?

    • +1

Yeah I can't get over how they don't care, not worth the risk.

  • wait so variable teens is included then right?

    • +2

Coles don't sell variable load Ultimate Teens and Students gift cards. Just $30 and $50 denominations.

  • Still can use at lululemon?

    • No.

The Ultimate gift cards website has the following in their help section:

Can I still use my Ultimate gift card at lululemon?

Lululemon is no longer a redemption partner.

For where to use your card please visit your cards product page.

For any further queries please contact our Customer Service team by completing the form HERE, or by calling us on 1800 862 126

Even if the gift card packaging shows the lululemon logo on it, it will not work at lululemon.

Why would you want to support that kind of company?

  • Shame it's not before the Timezone double dollars this weekend

  • Can we add these gift cards to Apple Wallet? I bought some Everyone gift cards but I can’t add them. I don’t want to carry so many physical cards as they’re becoming pointless.

    • I think there seems to be a limit on how many you can add in a span of time. I would suggest trying again later or using another device, I got another phone with Google Pay and I have still had issues not being able to add cards, however not as often as with Apple Pay.

  • Hmmm if this was variable load I’d be all over it…

  • +1

At the moment : It's 10% off at Aldi, no line, plenty of stock [Ultimate HIM and HER only]

    • Do you get 10% off at check out of these? I asked the staff and theyre like nah no 10% off.

      • +2

That comment was last week, mate

  • how easy is it to buy $2000 Ultimate Teen or Student?

    • +6

      Good luck.

Coles only sells Ultimate Teens and Ultimate Students gift cards in $30 and $50 fixed denominations, which means you need to purchase at least 40x $50 gift cards during this deal.

The issues with procuring so many gift cards are:

      • Coles' checkouts will let you purchase a maximum of five gift cards in one transaction. Staff cannot force the checkout to allow you to purchase more than five in one transaction.

      • You will likely have a hard time getting staff to allow you to purchase more than five gift cards in one visit, because the gift card shelves usually have signs saying there is a limit of five gift cards per customer, plus the terms and conditions for these kinds of gift card deals will say something similar. You pretty much always need staff approval to purchase gift cards, which is the reason this limit will likely cause issues for you.

      • A given Coles store may not have 40x $50 Ultimate Teens / Students gift cards in stock, especially since a lot of other people would be interested in those gift cards. Those gift cards are the largest denomination gift card in this deal that include Officeworks, which is a popular retailer (at least on OzBargain).

    • -1

Same issue here. So odd there’s no variable considering how much student stuffs are these days

  • Anyone know if there’s a limit to number of cards u can redeem at officeworks per order? Saw that teens and kids only have $30 and $50 denominations.

  • -1

why are these gift cards so popular? what do people even use it for? personally, i havent stepped into officeworks, jbhifi, good guys or eb games for more than a year

    • +1

for starters, an iphone / galaxy ultra comes out every year. You'll be surprised at the % of the popular that upgrade their phones every year (or even 6 months).

then second to that would be tech gadgets like action camera, cameras, laptops etc

ive also never stepped into those stores before - price match online, and delivered straight to home

      • -2

i get my phone and computer second-hand off marketplace. they still work, no need to upgrade.

i dont need most tech gadgets. camera? i got a phone

        • +1

"what do people use it for". You asked what they were used for, i simply answered. I didn't know you were asking from your perspective.

Yes you can get a second hand phone, and yes you can can use a phone instead of a camera. Considering most tech gadgets including phones get sold out within days of launch, it shows there still a huge market out there for brand new purchases. - i think that answers your question.

Don't forget, without people buying brand and selling it later, there would be no second hand / marketplace offerings. So someone still has to buy brand new.

  • For anyone interested, COSETTE was removed from all Ultimate gift cards today, including the Ultimate Her gift cards in this deal. That means COSETTE will no longer accept any Ultimate gift cards as a payment method (even if their logo appears on the gift card packaging).

  • What's the max Ultimate Him gift card value? I seem to recall you can only use one of these when shopping at JB online? I want to make a purchase around $800 so trying to work out how to go about it. Can they be used to purchase JBHIFI gift cards?

    • What's the max Ultimate Him gift card value?

The maximum eligible for this deal is $100.

I seem to recall you can only use one of these when shopping at JB online?

      Correct.

I want to make a purchase around $800 so trying to work out how to go about it. Can they be used to purchase JBHIFI gift cards?

The FAQ linked above covers this in some detail.

  • +1

For those wondering, was still able to purchase a $100 Him using a Category Choice Groceries gift card from the Amazon deal last week.

  • Will Ultimate Gift Cards be same dangerous and fragile in terms of tampering issue as TCN Gift Cards?

    • I think that if you get the cards with the numbers covered (only torn open when paying), you should be fine and you can also register the cards with your address so it stops online fraud i guess?

  • The captchas on these cards are nothing less than infuriating. I recently bought 16 x $50 teen gift cards from Woolworths on the 20x edr promotion. The checkout lady let me buy 16 cards over two transactions at the self checkout which was fine.

But when I got home man the process to convert them into JB hi Fi cards took forever.

For each card you're forced to do about 6-7 captchas, put in your personal details, get an SMS code and confirm it, then put the JB card number and pin into a spreadsheet. All up the process took me about 2 hours to save about $120 off the switch. I don't regret it but man it was painful

  • Heard these would still be available today on the 24th, but apparently, no 10% off deals seemed to apply. Unfortunate… shoulda went yesterday!
