    • No Chatswood 😔

      • People living in Chatswood doesn't need this!

  • any purchase fees?

    • No fees based on the deal screenshot which says "Purchase a $100 gift card for only $88".

    • No I bought 2, no service fees, a flat rate of $88 for a $100 card. They also didn’t check my Westfield membership, so could technically go back and buy more but not more than 3 in 1 transaction.

Card can be used anywhere that allows eftpos, not just Westfield stores.

  • Strictly while stocks last. T&Cs apply. Limit of 3 per person, during the promotional period. Only available in centre.

  • 88x3 = 264. ends in a 4. bad feng sui

    • 88x1 = 88. Good feng shui.

      • Stack paying with HSBC and you can get it for $86.24, though that also ends in a 4…

        • I'm happy for $44.44 if you can work it.

    • Is this an anti daigou type tactic?

      • I think it's how Westfield steals your social credit points

    • 88 x 2 = 176. Good feng sui

    • $88 = good fengshui

      $88*3 = good fengshui *3

    • 88 x 3 = 264 => 14 => 5… that's 5, not 4! Not bad in feng shui numerology.
There is no indication that 88 x 3 is bad feng shui. On the contrary, 88 is considered "extreme luck and wealth".

    • Pay each 88 separately. Triple g'luck.

    • Just buy 10

  • why no WA?

    • cmon, it's WA. This shouldn't be new to you, lol

    • They're rich on double bubble mining taxes

  • Pretty good deal.

  • Reminder that these cards can be used anywhere EFTPOS is accepted, not just inside Westfield :)

  • Is there any vic specific offer?

  • I use them to top up my Opal at Woolies Westfield Bondi Junction

    • Why not discounted Woolies GC?

      • I only use discounted Westfield GC like this one

  • I'm surprised no love for Chatswoo

    • People in Chatswood would probably feel insulted if you even tried to sell them something at a discount. lol

  • No love for Liverpool

  • No VIC….

    • Unbelievable!!

    • Victorians earn more than people in NSW, cheaper houses and rental too. Cannot enjoy anymore discount! Haha

  • So can only purchase this at the location?

    • purchase them anywhere you like. its your world we are just living in it. :)

      • I mean, we could only get the gift card in-person by heading to these specific Westfield locations?

  • Post office loophole has been closed for a while right? Iykyk

    • Yeah. I used to buy $999 ones and pay my bas

    • you can still use it everywhere else that EFTPOS is accepted

      • … as long as the merchant accepts it.

For example, Officeworks accepts eftpos and have EFTPOS terminals with magstripe readers, but their checkouts automatically block Westfield eftpos gift cards (and have been doing so for many years).

        • ya I know I just thought they wouldn't have the luck in using it at a banned place

  • Sold out at Westfield Sydney

    • dang that's annoying

    • Yes, just checked and the guy said all sold out and won’t have more in..

  • says no longer available via link in deal.
Ok my bad was in the wrong centre. Anyway this deal is in-person only as you need to scan a QR.

  • lol had to be the Chinese suburbs… already 84 la don't need to 8 anymore

  • any $2.95 fee for activate per card?

  • Managed to get 6x at westfield burwood. Still plenty left

  • Curious to know the queue !!

    • None at burwood 10 mins ago

      • no queue, but just maxed out for today.

  • Anyone get it at Mount Gravatt?

    • Got some around 5pm today

  • Any more available in Mt Gravatt ?

  • OOS in Mt. Gravatt as well.

According to staff they run out about half hour ago.

    • did you ask if they'll restock?

      • asked and they said unlikely for now but they are asking for permission from management

  • OOS Sydney City. They said not restocking for tomorrow.

  • Plenty left at TTP. There's a tiny qr code on the counter. After you scan it they give you the card in a lot of unnecessary packaging, a chocolate coin and a fortune cookie!

  • Westfield Support advised me that TTP is the only S.A. store for this offer, so not available Marion store.

  • Got three from Burwood NSW this morning. They said they were going to run out of GCs today most likely - they were already out of the LNY package and were selling plain GCs

  • Just got now from Mt Gravatt , was told
stock is limited to just 100 so try your luck. Definitely call them before you go.

To save time make sure you have Westfield app installed and logged in , they will ask you to scan a QR , show them the thumbs up on app and only then will issue a GC

  • 12% is rare and I think the idea of 88 is to match the lucky number together with small extra gifts for the upcoming Chinese New Year.

    • FYI the threshold for limited quantity deals is 10 units. There are 5 participating centers, and there are 100 each = 500 in total. Which more than satisfies our requirements for having sufficient qty. Guideline

        • mods love to dictate what I can neg.

Have you noticed that your neg is still there?

For clarification, Negative votes that fall into one of the following categories listed on Voting guidelines are manually revoked. Any other neg votes that are revoked are done via community (comment votes).

You only had 1 revoked vote in the entirety of 2025, which was this comment "Shopback sucks". That vote was revoked after users downvoted the comment (past the -8 score threshold), it was not manually revoked by a moderator (since it doesn't fall into one of the reasons listed in Voting guidelines)

          • @scrimshaw: Your mincing words. The auto revoke at -8 votes is a policy set by the mods.

You still haven't responded to my claim that the deal is out of stock.

            • @salmon123:

Your mincing words. The auto revoke at -8 votes is a policy set by the mods.

Well that automated rule applies to everyone. Including myself and other mods, no exceptions. You're free to cast a neg vote, but people also have the right to veto that neg vote, if they think the vote is invalid. That's why the rule exists.

                • @salmon123: Feel free to deactivate your account; I doubt you'll be missed.

                • @salmon123:

Much easier for me to b*tch and moan on Reddit

                  Please take your tantrums elsewhere.

I just got 3 cards today.

  • 3 cards per day???

  • And the deal is out of stock so it should be expired.

  • I just visited the Westfield Sydney Concierge and was told they had limited quantity per location and they are all sold out at all locations

  • This is VICBIAS! 😡

  • Stock exhausted at Tea Tree Plaza (SA)

    • I just got 3 today.

      • Prove it.

        • I have nothing to gain by proving/convincing you. I got $300 worth of Westfield GC's. You're the one missing out.

  • I don't think it is stock exhausted really. I was at burwood yesterday the lady mention come back tomorrow as promo sold for the day.

then today it is no longer available. Westfield have withdraw the rest probably as they reckon the promo is way too popular for the value offered and decided to just end it.

an EFTPOS card with a 12% OFF face value is just too generous in current market. you really don't expect westfield will hand out large scale of gifts to public these days

  • I don't think it is stock exhausted really

It's not a physical limit - they have plenty of gift cards to sell at undiscounted prices.

It's sh*ty loss leader that's restrictions to 100 per desk or Westfield centre.

    • They told me 500 limit for a day at ttp.

      • Another reason why the deal is sh*t.

Inconsistent information and terms that aren't well disclosed.

  • TTP still has stock this morning. Just got 3
