The tax is a % of a %, realistically not a major impact. The real impact is supply chain cost increases.
Expect the opposite to start occuring in whisky as corporates are pressured for sales.
The fact Dans are doing discounts semi regularly should point to that (they rarely if ever did it prior to 2025)

It'd also take ages to send the 2FA SMS. By the time it arrived, it had lapsed already. Email 2FA was instantaneous, though.
If you're in SA and have an RAA membership you can get 5% off a Dan Murphy gift card. Work out the amount you need to spend on Dans then order the gift card in that exact amount but you pay 5% less. Total of 15% off.
