  • Total cost? How much to cancel plan and keep both devices?

    • Hopefully someone experienced will answer to confirm, but it appears to be $1403.56

New and re-contracting Consumer and Business customers only.

      • Purchase upfront is $1,348.56.

        • That doesn't get you the 9a, just the 10. The fine print says that you have to buy a 24 or 36 month plan, not outright or even 12 month.

  • The phone itself costs almost the same as some of the recent deals of the Pixel 10 and 9A..
Add on the 24 SIM cost, and it's pretty terrible deal…

    • Thanks for your information

  • Cheapest SIM plan is $55/month 😂

  • But then I have to be with Optus?

  • Black friday i bought from gg store all together 1278$ after discount for pixel 10 128gb and 9a 128Gb

  • Hey Optus. What we really want is 9 pro xl for 500 bucks.

  • You should really mention the total minimum cost in the title or description? Bargains have prices.

  • Network outage included free of charge?

    • Plus privacy breach as a bonus feature

  • I'm also keen to understand what are the actual penalties if I cancel within/after 1 month? I ain't you pay the remaining pixel 10 hardware costs, party what you owe for the plan usage (1 month?)… Are there any charges related to the pixel 9a?

  • Is the Pixel 10a + bonus 9a bundle the best deal currently available, or is there a hidden gem out there I’m missing?

  • Merged from Bonus Google Pixel 9a 128GB Obsidian (Worth $848) with Google Pixel 10 Series on 24/36 Month Phone Plan @ Optus

    • Aren't the 9a and 10a near identical?

      • it will cost more than this becaus you will be selling you data along with it with Optus. Good luck with that. Alway remember the data breach at optus never forget.

        • while true i think the genie's already out of the bottle and whatever data you have is already out there

        • Risk of data breach is everywhere. Cyber security is something that nobody cares about till something goes wrong. Doesn't change the fact Optus had poor guardrails in the past, moving forward they'll be the most secure.

          • @ashyboy: its higher risk on companies that don't prevent it or have already been breached and the public knows about it. when its publicly known the breach is far worse than they report. Optus is one of those companies.

          • @ashyboy: No, they've barely addressed their security issues. Singtel wants to sell Optus, so they're not investing in it

    • What is the ETC on this?

      • No lock in contract. I guess you just need to pay for the phone (10 series) and first month plan.

        • Huh? Maybe I'm missing something here but likely ETC on the SIM plan? Why call it 24/36 months plan otherwise?

          • @Craze: Those 24/36 are the repayment plans for the device and the sim is mostly sim-only plans. I'm pretty sure it's been like that for a long time.

Here what the website states in the no lock in section:
Can I change or cancel my plan?
If you only have a Choice Plus SIM plan with Optus, you have the flexibility to change your plan once a month, and there are no cancellation fees.

If you have purchased a device with OptusPay together with your Choice Plus SIM plan, you can change your SIM plan once a month. However, if you cancel your device or SIM plan, you will need to pay out the remaining cost of your device in full.

        • How?

    • Anyone here for rescue (share the best/ effective price)? Go legends!

    • Can stack with Shopback $150 too?

    • @TechMeister Congrats on your 🥇 🏆 first post 👏🎉.
      Keep sharing.

    • The a series is losing it's way in 2026. The value proposition is no longer there imo.

    • So looks like the 9a comes as a gift and does not form part of the bill. So seems like you can cancel plan and no payout for the 9a

  • This is still an ongoing offer - I just received my 9a in the mail this morning after upgrading to a 10 pro XL
