    Wear OS compaitble?

Will this app help me stay more level-headed?

  • I always wondered how the level sensor work with modern phones with elevated lenses

use your phone on its side.

      • buttons on both long sides best way in my opinion is screen laying flat and screenshot but unideal

Google "spirit level" on your phone, it's built into the browser. You don't need an app.

Seems not to work on Brave. Does on Chrome, tho.

That privacy policy is insane for an app that just reads the accelerometer. Of course the app is "free" when they're using it to collect your information to sell to other vendors.

      Yep it stinks for sure.

    • Not a bad business model—a lot of people sorta given up on privacy (if they ever cared).

Can it be locked down. Just installed it; app info says no permissions given.

You can't trust app info. Just have a look at what permissions it says your web browser has, on my phone it doesn't even admit the web browser has internet access.

Here's a full listing for the Bubble Level app in this deal, produced by an app that sadly isn't available any more:

        Screenshot 2

This app looks like it will show you the permissions your apps actually use. And sends no data back to its creator, and "This application requires no special permissions to run.".

          Installed it. Thanks.

for an app that just reads the accelerometer.

That's all it needs, but Google Play says it also wants access to your camera, location, and full internet access.

I'm rather suspicious of this one.

  • Not as responsive and quick as others that I've used. Even after I've changed the viscosity setting.

    Not free anymore :(
