We almost need a faq entry somewhere for what to do if someone is on telstra/boost (have another sim card non telstra, port your number there for half an hour or so, then pprt your nukber to this afaik)

FYI just did this today with a Telstra $2 sim. Ported in minutes between the two. Was a seamless process but I did have issues converting to eSIM and needed to do it over chat.

how about comparing it with a prepaid on the same network (telstra). Its not all about the gigs and the lower $. Better is subjective. so many variables so YMMV. eg. Oversubscibed towers, bind spots, support, inclusions, networks, fine prints, etc, etc, etc..

Kogan blows. Boost gets full telstra network access, albeit with speed limits. Not a remotely valid comparison, sorry.

      • +2

        Kogan is also 4G only

  • Does office works price match these ?

    • +1

Definitely not for this deal since it requires a code

    • +1

They will for this one which is 50 cents more.

      • Just tried and got declined, stating they have a blanket ban on lucky mobile

        • Think I read someone in the forums saying that recently. I think they were trying to price match over the phone.

Were you trying over the phone or in store?
If it was over the phone, I'd be interested to hear if you are successful in store.

  • You can buy in Costco too with 249

    • Boost or telstra

    • Expired deal, its not in the catalouge

  • +1

Happy with the one I bought last year, will renew.

  • Tried to buy but getting an error at checkout regardless of which payment method selected

    • Same here. Called website number and left message and emailed them day before. Still No reply so I wonder if the business still exists.

      • Got a reply that issue was resolved. Will retry.
